The amount of games where I’VE done the most for my team to win, getting most kills/highest KDA/most score contributed/most objectives captured, is getting ridiculous. I’ve been yelling at my teammates for the last THREE HOURS to play the objective, to shoot someone they’re just staring at, or stand on a zone (my whole team runs by a capturable zone and just feeds the enemy team points). If this is SBMM then explain why the hell I’m holding a 2.2 KDA just from Iron Banner while my entire team struggles to kill one person or stand in a circle

2 RespuestasThe worst time to play is after midnight U.S. time. That's my experience. Early morning to noon is the sweetest time

3 RespuestasWin, lose or get stomped I enjoy PvP. People take Kd too seriously and get too peeved when others on their team have a bad game. Have some fun. In any system you are going to get battered every now and again. There are zero real world consequences for losing a PvP match and/or sucking balls. That’s the whole point. It’s not real life. If you treat it like real life (phrases like “putting the work in” or “earning the right to” are for real life, not escapist game playing fun), then you might as well put that effort towards something that will actually benefit you in the real world. I put that effort into work and family and my health. PvP is where I go to chill.

nah dude, I love spending a full week grinding engrams to re earn COSMETICS and having to play with a team full of -blam!- cuz bungie keeps forcing us to play a objective based game more where no one plays said objective ya know, it kinda makes me miss when i got after school to play battlefield 3, the game was stable, good connections and -blam!- that dont play the objective get banned from the server at this point, just make the game mode Iron Banner Mayhem like it was in D1, at least its fun, and most people wont have to play the -blam!- vs vergins type of matches
-
Bro, I looked at your recent games, 1 of them you had the most kills on your team, 1!!
-
It's because Bungies sbmm has a strict forced win ratio.

2 RespuestasPreach. You get one of 2 types of teammates in terms of objectives. The ones who don't at all, and the ones who spawn flip you into a loss because they don't know how to just hold 2 points and stop pushing. No one thinks. No one uses any strategy. People are brain dead.

1 RespuestaYeah, something’s up with the matchmaking. I’ve been getting top of the leaderboard quite a few games and we still lose. Had a game where my teammates, not one of them broke positive KDA, meanwhile I was at like a 5KDA.
-
Don’t take it so serious… screaming at your teammates isn’t going to get you anything… Good thing you’re the best most matches…

That pretty much sums up my experience in IB. If I go zone capping, we lose map position. If I try to hold map position and play for kills, we get triple capped. I know in the first 30 seconds how the game is going to go based on the opening moves of my teammates. If they all go to cap the nearest zone, or barely move, then its going to go poorly. If there are 2 guys flying towards the intercept point or B flag, then theres a chance for a good match. Just read the room, and if its going to be an L just play your life and let it mercy... then onto the next one. Lobby balancing is bad in this game. I am far from a great player, but I feel that I am often the top guy on my team and need to play above my ability in order to get a win. Meanwhile Im a double primary scrub who is stuck in D2Y1 meta :)
-
Lobby balancing at its finest. I'd almost prefer random teams at this point. Stop catering our experiences bungo. Simply because you want to have some win based objective/challenges.

2 RespuestasHow is the player population right now? Cause it feels like it does usually toward the end of a season.

2 RespuestasSo then don't play. They're not going to disable pvp because you had a bad time. Sorry.

Bungie wants you to carry games with not so good people… am trying to capture and hold the 2 closest zones almost every game alone, am always standing there by myself while my team runs around getting killed. Then the enemy team swarms my position and kills me.. Do people not realise that the more people on the capture the more points you get, you also get your super faster. Am finally done with IB anyway as I finally guilded number 6 solo

Despite what anyone says, the game has always been like this. I have countless screenshots through the years where one team with go all positive, anywhere from 1.5KDA to sky's the limit, and the other team will have 1 player go positive and 5 sitting at below 1.0. It happens in D2, it happens in CoD, it happens in Apex Legends, Halo Infinite, CS GO... Welcome to "competitive" online PvP I guess...

Beat downs are kind of a d2 tradition.
