Why I hate raid on contest mode
Not the raid not the challenge but knowing full well before and after the raid that plenty of guns, builds and aspects will get nerfed or stealth nerfed because of a small group of players literally 1% of the whole community will demand it since they never got first like salta did last time claimed last raid was too easy but he never even got worlds first on that raid anyway.
In all honesty the only thing entertaining is watching how toxic most of our top 1% can be with eachother ,makes you see these players/streamers in a new light but because Ive watched previous races and seen the toxity first hand I cannot fund that type of behaviour so I won't be watching (but good luck to anyone that does the raid).
Don't nerf any aspects or builds just because of a raid that only 1% will participate in ,I understand disabling some things for the comp but do not nerf them atall bungie please !!!!!!!!!!!!

9 RespuestasI just hate contest mode simply because i just want to jump in and get a clear. I could care less about worlds last. Just give players 2 modes at launch, contest mode, and normal mode. Or at least activate the normal mode once the 1st team beat it.

I turned it on just to check out where his group was after following Redeem for most of the day and 2 minutes into his stream I listened to him curse out members of his fire team for how they were doing call-outs. Instantly turned off from the guy never followed his content never liked any of his videos first impressions go a long way. But I think what you're saying is even more important when you see people show their true selvles believe it, not the show they put on for their subs.

The most hardcore sweats whether pve or pvp based are on pc, most streamers are on pc, the most egregious cheaters are on pc, pc has the highest amount of toxic players, etc. I wish bungie never released D2 on pc and I wish cod never included pc within crossplay (main reason why I quit back during mw).

EDIT So how was the raid was it fun to do? So how was it to watch for some ? Was it toxic with players digging at each other for wiping or was it a good to watch ? Has anyone announced that it was easy and should of been made harder? Is crota a bulletsponge? Is it too hard ? No hate just genuinely curious

3 RespuestasThis is ridiculous. I'm so critical of Bungie the majority of the time, I can't believe I have to defend this. The reason they disable or nerf these things for the contest is because it would empower the top 1% to dominate the activity & no one else would have the ability to compete with top tier players grouped up in top tier teams. The contest mode raids would be cleared in an hour if these nerfs & disabled items weren't treated as they're. No team outside of streamer teams would place in the top <50 spots because average teams wouldn't be able to compete. If an average Joe can use an item or build & become super tanky, or an ad clear/DPS monster - what do you think that empowerment will do in the hands of some of this community's best players?

That small group of players.....depending on where they sit in the community generally have valid points (from those I've spoken with at least). I hope Bungie do nerf Well into the ground with it's upcoming adjustments though. Long overdue that this particular super gets put down.

Contest mode ruins day 1 raids for everyone else that doesn’t care about the race. They could at least move it back to 24 hours.

Stealth nerfing is what I dislike most about how things are being handled now. I used to go test the relevant topics of the patch notes to see the difference, but now I feel like I have to test everything. It's honestly tiring because it's a weekly process. Bungie just knows how to burn me out man.
