Auto matchmaking for raids just wouldn’t end well even for those solo casuals if they think they’ll get matched every time with people who are willing to run key roles themselves.

I mean some raid mechanics are super super simple and people still quit. Planets in Root of Nightmares, Totems in Kings Fall, half of Garden of Salvation, etc. any simpler and it’s not much more than a Strike.

I'm a casual, and I still don't think having matchmaking in every activity is plausible.

The fact that most of the game has always been designed more for dedicated teams over solos/randoms has been a complaint for many years even some streamers have covered it but bungie never addresses it and just keeps making more content for the hardcore players that play 24/7 or make a living from playing it and neglecting the majority/average player completely just like the new player/light experience has been neglected

This company is unreal. Just read the article & it says overload machine guns & handcannons dont currently overcharge when the modifier is active & this is an unintended bug, it will be resolved later in the season They're actually incompetent

I found that this season on a new account, you start at 1600 & it sends you into deep dive & it's 1810! That's 60 above soft cap even, & they've removed lots of pinnacles to 1750-1810 takes seasons, especially with no duplicate protection. I don't know if intentional or incompetence tbh

Hitting max light is based on RNG However, a few weeks of grinding pinnacles in no way equates to it taking seasons. You can say it takes seasons if you aren't doing the limited amount of activities each week to hit max light which then makes one wonder why complain about not being able level up.

That's another thing, having dares & legend stuff at 1830 is mental, new players or casuals have no chance & that's fine but there's that little to do in the game if you remove the 1830 stuff from your playlist there's nothing to do other than strikes & they say whoopee strike playlist is very populated Idiots
