How does Fed Ex stay in business?!?!

OMG. They have the worst customer service of any business I’ve ever seen. I ordered a package from Sam Ash Music via Amazon. To avoid porch pirates, Sam Ash required a signature to confirm delivery. But deliveries are during a time I’m at work. So I try to reroute the package to a local FedEx print shop that can accept deliveries. FedEx -via their app—won’t let me do it, claiming restrictions from the shipper won’t allow it. Despite multiple attempts I can’t manage to speak to a human being at customer service. I contact Sam Ash directly. Get them to agree to withdraw the requirement so it can be rerouted to the print shop. FedEx just tried to deliver it to my house again today . I finally manage to speak to a human being at FedEx…an this person enunciates so poorly that I can barely understand her. Only to tell me that my “case” will need 24 hours to go into effect…which of course is not soon enough to prevent a failed third attempt to deliver the package. Not to mention them having package of mine a couple of years ago simply “disappear” from their system for 10 day…and no one could find it until it just magically disappeared. How do they not go bankrupt operating like this?!?!?
