Dear Bungie,
Please reset the difficulty back to pre Lightfall. Raising it has meant there's less content for me to play as I can't do lots of things now. I've lost so many clan mates as they feel the same :-
New Dungeon - failed
Exotic Scout mission - failed
Previous exotic on legendary - failed
Master lost sector - failed
The content is fantastic. Love Neomuna, being under 'water'. But frustrating because my fireteam and I can't complete things.
Previously we were having a blast. Tower of the Watcher, Exotic missions on legendary and Master lost sectors. All completed. Now I feel I'm not getting value for money with my annual pass as there's so much less that I can do.
I've played a couple of times a week since before Forsaken but now I barely log on.
Please bring back the fun.

15 RespuestasEditado por Spawn: 7/29/2023 12:53:26 PMI wouldn't mind if Destiny adopted a "World Tier" system for PvE. I've spent time playing Diablo IV, which I wish was in the game but more in open settings; Patrols, Public events, matchmade activities, etc. Adept: "Base Difficulty" +0 (New Lights start here) Heroic: -10 Legend: -15 Master: -20 Select your difficulty, rewards, drops, xp, quest progress, and materials drop accordingly. Keep Grandmaster exclusive to GM difficulty in Strike Playlist at -25. Want to keep it casual and play through? Adjust it accordingly. Spend much time in high-end PvE and want the rest of the world to function that way? Tune your world difficulty up to Master and reap the rewards. Downside: You're splitting the population as these are functionally different "worlds" meaning you'll only see other players if you're in the same world as them.

1 RespuestaHi there, I hear what you're saying about the difficulty change. The master lost sectors are more about what day it is and having the right build. When I need to run a lost sector I search for it on YouTube, for example "exodus garden lost sector titan" will show you a build and a run. The rest of your list is stuff best tackled with team mates. I noticed it's been a few years since you have run a raid. If you need team mates for a raid or a dungeon or the exotic scout mission, stop by and see me. I stream D2 PvE helps on twitch almost every day, my channel is the same as my Bungie name, ARTFUL5. My standing offer to the entire Destiny community is anyone looking for their first clear of any dungeon or any raid gets to go next. Just jump into chat and type !rookie and we will get you help. You just need to be able to talk using Discord and keep things PG as I help a lot of younger Guardians. You don't have to solo everything, Destiny is so much more fun with a team! Better loot, better experiences, less stressful, more fun.

3 RespuestasNah game was a literal snoozefest. Difficulty increase needed to happen. Historically, Destiny was never as easy as it was last year. Witch Queen and the seasons that followed spoiled y’all. Subclass 3.0s, Resilience buff, the various buffs to exotics, all this lead to us being more powerful than ever. There needed to be a course correction. But here’s the thing, the game is still easier than what it was pre Witch Queen.

8 RespuestasYeah I agree with this, I'm a long time destiny player, and I do enjoy the game alot otherwise I wouldn't be playing it! But the lost Sectors exotic lock has ruined it for me, I love making builds and experimenting with them but now I'm totally Locked out from doing this as my light level is not high enough to get through the areas on my own. I get the game should be difficult in areas, but don't lock other players out from earning exotics.. I have been told vex force also drops exotics for players.. But iv never actually seen one as I don't have hours to wait around!! Something has to change here.
-
Matchmaking ruined it for me
-
Sometimes I fail and sometimes I just refuse to spend my time trying to beat content that isn't fun and is really boring. Oh look, another tiny locked room with a giant bullet sponge and endless ads, how imaginative.
-
3 Respuestasthis is modern gaming, difficulty is fun apparently, I get it in some games, which is why I don't buy them, this was never that game, in D2 it has, always been a choice,
-
The dungeon isn’t that hard. It’s problem is the shield health of bosses not really anything from the difficulty improvement. I also don’t know why people bother with master lost sectors. I’d also say the difficulty changes aren’t the real problem with he exotic scout mission.
-
I think what the difficulty tuning did was like a automatic nerf on everything. While it can be somewhat ok for a team of friends, solo players , playing with randoms of all skill levels and everything you have being less effective not to mention selected armor, weapon AND the resilience nerf. I think it makes the game a bit much. Think about it with the difficulty tuning it makes even minor nerfs , devastating
-
We hear you. Have you checked out the latest EV stuff behind the paywall?
-
With such a huge diverse player base Bungie should put more options in to open it up for everyone. Over the years Bungie have tried to please everyone and it’s backfired big time . I’m playing remnant 2 and it’s challenging through out . But there are other options if you do get stuck .

2 RespuestasMy take: Heroic difficulty and below is 100% fine. All changes feel reasonable. Heroic content is only marginally harder than it used to be. Grandmasters are also 100% fine. They actually feel better now that match game is less of an issue. I think that the recent additions and reworks are too much though and need to be scaled back, but that’s a different topic. Legend and Master content feels absolutely terrible right now. Both received massive difficulty spikes. Legend used to be manageable solo so long as I played carefully, now it’s a struggle even with teams occasionally. Masters used to be difficult but not impossible. Now most Master content appears impossible to solo. Master Dungeons and raids look insurmountable. Bungie needs to roll back the changes on these activities. A simple solution would be to simply remove the contest mode-like modifier so that at the end of a season we can have a go at the activity. Idk, just my 2 cents

3 RespuestasI’m being 100% honest here, Destiny now is all about the builds you use. If you don’t optimize your loadouts you will encumber your fireteam. The artifact is key.
-
You lost me at "the content is fantastic"; personally, I think the content is garbage. As for the difficulty, I don't necessarily care but a lot of my friends did, as they all quit the game. I also barely play this game anymore, it's weird, it gets boring after about an hour.
-
3 RespuestasI am stuck on level 7 because I cant best the final mission on legendary. Very frustrating.
-
8 RespuestasBest is yet to come when they increase difficulty in Strikes next season. That'll be me, finally out. Cannot have fun anymore.
-
For me the difficulty just varies so much depending on the activity.. legend in some places is down right impossible, but in others a cake walk.. the dungeon is easy.. vex is frustrating etc. It's the lack of content that stops me playing. Run out of things to do, and after being around since D1 day one I'm bored of doing the same thing over and over. Seasonal content and DLC is supposed to counter that.. but when the DLC is done with quickly, as well as being poorly written, plus the seasonal content being over and done with by the halfway point, then the fun dries up so soon

Editado por rottingvermin: 7/29/2023 4:56:51 PMI still fail the Avalon regular mission. And of course I quit it after first fail and try again a couple weeks later. I’ve been using Malfeasance with Lucky Pants lately and it’s been a big help with damage. Master lost sectors are manageable. I used LFG for the first time in awhile for Legendary Weekly mission and it went well. I didn’t fell like I was dragging team down. Ny biggest problem is that if I die during a dungeon and have to restart encounter, I bail lol
-
Only thing I don't like about the new difficulty is neomuna open world. Sometimes it feels harder than a gm or master raid. I would love to be able to explore the area sometimes without everything being a threat. Now the event can stay the same level but regular world enemies can be toned down a little.
-
I haven't spent much time on Neomuna, but I thought it felt very small and empty. 1 fast travel spot is unacceptable. I did the closest lost sector 10 times for the season weekly quest and it was not good or fun. It felt very claustrophobic.
-
D2 pve is garbage. They completely ruined the cool feeling legendary drops and exotic drops. Quest in d1 were awesome I’m not sure if it’s because it was the first time doing them but in d2 it is such a drag/chore. I don’t it’s too late and been too long to do anything for pve.

Editado por Jammers: 7/29/2023 9:19:50 AMThinking there new company name should be Nerf. For some unknown reason they spend more time nerfing players, weapons and mods then anything else. The game has been broken since lightfall . They sure enjoy the nerf. Now they took away 4 good mods . Why stop there just give everyone one crap pea shooter gun because at this rate there is such little difference between weapons after nerf town. That it dont matter what you use there all numbing to use. And the raids are none existent for the majority of players...zero MM because they wont get off the wonky mechanics couch. .
-
1 Respuestai hate getting blasted from across the map over and over on neonuma
-
You lie. Nobody likes Neomuna.
-
The problem is Bungies interpretation of harder difficulty is just adding more enemies that hit harder and harder to kill. This essentially means play the ranged game because god forbid you get too close and get one shot by some acolyte. Why not add more meaningful changes like more mechanics or objectives where players actually have to think and work cohesively? The champion feature although have seen some improvements in versatility, it is still overwhelmingly limiting and forces guardians to basically use the same "SIT BACK" and just BOW everything. I recently started playing more PvE stuff because PvP is a sh** show right now and was absolutely flabbergasted when every one of my PvE friends told me to just use this bow or that bow. Naturally...I did not heed their warnings and got absolutely dismantled in my first GM nightfall. It's ridiculous that a game where mixing and matching thousands of weapons, perk combos, mods, and exotics essentially rely on the same 15 loadouts for endgame content.

8 Respuestasdo your self a fav play something else. best thing i ever did was stop playing this game, i am actualy having fun playin games again, let the top 1% and streamers sweat it out
