Stop making us wear inferior armor!
I don’t understand the logic of forcing me to wear this inferior armor with no synergy to any of my builds to play this so-called “event”. Yeah, I’m not doing this! The second I get a half decent Rocket Launcher, I’m done with this moronic event.

11 RespuestasYou only need to wear 1 armor piece. I've done extensive testing, wearing only a hunter cloak. Rewards are the same.

the evervese armor ornament set for the event is the same armor but under different names don't buy.

If your waiting to get a good roll on the rocket to quit playing the event then you will never get to quit because every perk is trash tier on the worst archetype of rocket. Its a precision frame, so 10-15% less damage right out the gate, with mostly add clear perks.

I agree, they need to just be ornaments. When people have their builds set up exactly like they want them even multiple builds, and then we have to wear this armor that's at level one and you have to either wear it and suck it up for the entire event or waste a bunch of materials

Run your normal armor, but save a build with all the solstice armor on it. Before you finish an activity, swap to the solstice armor. Problem solved!

The whole event just feels like a catch up event for new/returning players. Never once grind for anything in them.

I think some actually don't mind the "inferior" armor, makes doing dungeon runs, etc a bit more fun, makes you play more conservative and makes you think how far you've come in D2. You're never forced to wear it if you don't want to take part in the event. Wear whatever armor you want, you can just switch to the Sunlit Armor before your activity ends and you'll still get Leaves/Ash.

Did 2 runs of it, yawn!, won't be going back in there, I wasted materials on the armour, thank god I didn't use AS's on that shite. Also, Eva is like a stuck record, blabbering on about the same stuff she always does, Christ!! Give her some new lines. Anyway, enjoy it if you play it.

20 RespuestasSigned in, browsed what was added, tried the event, and just sat there asking "why would I waste my time grinding for.... what?" And then deleted the game and went back to FF16. The same braindead map, same braindead event with the same braindead gameplay loop. Zero innovation, zero incentive to grind, no fun to be had, and it costs 10 bucks to get the "full experience". The hoops that boot lickers here jump through trying to justify this sad pathetic state the game is in really takes the cake. The developers themselves don't give af either and aren't interacting with fans anywhere. [spoiler]Added bonus, the one strike I played was filled with 2 typical elitists that embody every embarrassing high level bum I run across on here. Max guardian rank, season rank in the 200s, both eager edge griefing for quite literally no reason, wearing the sweatiest gear and dresses you can imagine. I wish I could say this was an anomaly, but strikes have always been plagued by degenerates like this for some reason and I can't figure out why. [/spoiler] Now go ahead soy boy that this offended, type your emotional little boy rant about how right you are and whatever other excuses you need to justify your pathetic lifestyle.

1 RespuestaThey could have given us universal armor ornaments, which we could then put on whatever our build is, but that would have been generous and useful. Not Bungle's way of doing business.

In bonfire there’s a trillion orbs so builds aren’t so important. I saved a load out with all the new armor. I swap to it during the boss fight and get the same rewards.

11 Respuestas77 on fully MWed gear I currently got. 51 on the event gear. Nothing matching my build or coming close. If MWed it’d only be just under 60. Rather the gear dropped initially at 65ish. Then MWed at 75ish which is a tad more doable. Or default drop at 67 before Master Worked.

1 RespuestaCan't you create a loadout with the event armor and switch to it before killing the boss? I mean this is an event centered around making the event armor glow, it makes sense to have people wear the armor for the event. At least there is a fast work around it now.
