Savathun lost her memory
This is the biggest problem. When Savathun was chosen, she lost all her memories and used the Guardian to recover a vague overview of it.
Savathun went to great lengths to insure the Veil was kept secret. She won't know the way to pass through the portal.
The next season will most likely focus on recovering Savathun's memory using the same method from Witch Queen.

Interestingly enough the last lore tab from this seasons lore book is a conversation between the Witness and Xivu Arath. And the Witness specifically mentions not Savathun but instead her worm as having knowledge that could prove to be a problem moving forward with his plan.

I would say Books of Sorrow, like how would another species see or write that story, or if the species names were correctly used.

We must remember that Savathun’s memory was wiped clean. She probably forgot about how to get in the portal. However, she probably had this planned out to the T. Remember how we got the worm familiar. She PUT it there, in HER temple, IN HER THRONE WORLD, where she SEES EVERYTHING. She knew we would look for it. She gave us the answer, but she never knew what the answer would be in the end because it didn’t benefit her survival to know it. Actually, it would’ve. But there is one question on my mind still. Did Savathun resurrect Mars? Or did the Witness? We know why the Witness took it away. But who made it come back??

37 RespuestasWho knows how she will try to manipulate us. She isn't dead. Xivu was laughing at us, at the end of the "finale" this week. Savathun isn't dead, she remembers everything... the Witnesses' origin is another manipulation, that's not the Witnesses Origin... We might have killed Sloane, there is a few frames... like .25 secs that shows her huddled scared in the corner during the final interaction with her this week. During season of the Haunted... we thought those nightmares were reflections of the past, It was all a manipulation. It's why Zavala is going along with this plan, she broke him.

This is a good point, I think we will use deepsight and maybe the martian relic to help reclaim her memory of her time before being resurrected

It's possible she hid memories for herself, so once the guardian recovered her memories she could find those onse she hid away.
