Why don’t you just do what the rest of your team wants?
Maybe you’re being rude?

I get what you're saying, however from my end having played a lot (as I'm sure you have). People tend to shoot and mess about all all the time. So generally I'll ignore and carry on 90% of the time. Everyone's experience will undoubtedly be different, I suppose if it's a new mission or what not then maybe taking a hint would help.

I completely understand what you’re saying and I can also see both sides of the argument. I argue with folks about it because they think that what they want is the right way, and everyone else should do it that way. That irritates me. Folks say that doing the pressure trials isn’t the normal way to run deep dives, but why are they in the deep dives if they aren’t normal? Why should people that want to do a pressure trial have to get an lfg? It could be argued just as hard that folks that don’t want to do it should lfg right? To me, it’s just silly on both ends of the argument. If your team wants to do them, and you don’t, then don’t get upset if they leave. If you don’t want to do it and the rest of the team does, then you can do them or leave yourself. It’s not like it costs anyone a lot of time either way.
-
Agreed, if it does bother people then yea lfg is the option. People let the simplest thing irritate them. Also yes, doing the pressure trials in deep dive is the whole point of it.
-
No, he's right. ive not played much this season compared to normal and when ive played deep dive ive had people shooting at me and leaving. i then find out from watching a video about the toland thing and the pressure trial and realize thats what they are wanting me to do. Players should not have to watch content creators videos to do something that is part of the game and im sure the majority of casuals are not going to watch videos about it. The worst thing is that if a player leaves nobody else can join, so you have to slog through as a 2 or solo or restart.
-
I figured it out without watching anything…… It’s weird because gamers used to be able to figure stuff out on their own lol. If you can’t then it’s possibly a you issue right?
-
dont be so arrogant. If you just start the activity and move forward killing the ad's then you wouldnt necessarily see the toland thing. what a jerk.
-
Jerk? I didn’t say you should figure it out the first run. All I said was that I figured it out without watching a stream or YT video. You’re the one that suggested it’s impossible to figure out without doing that, and I simply told you that wasn’t true. All I’m saying is pay attention in game and watch your team, you can actually learn something.
-
i didnt suggest it was impossible at all. i said i hadnt played it much so i didnt know yet., and therefore you infer its a me issue. its ok saying learn from your team if they are at least slightly helpful but if you start killing ads and all they do is shoot at you for 5 seconds then pull out their ghost and leave, what does that teach you?
-
Did you see what they wanted when they were shooting you or did you keep killing everything? If you kept killing everything then I don’t suppose you learned anything from it 🤷🏼♂️
-
i wonder why oh why this community has its reputation.
-
i wonder why oh why this community has its reputation.
I’m not sure what you mean by that? I guess you didn’t see what your team wanted?
-
yeah guess thats me isn't it? maybe not though. ive just tried 5 deep dives where one or both of the other players didn't know. Tried everything i could to point them in the right direction. staying next to toland, shooting, emotes, trying to push them, but they didn't get it. Do i blame them? No! Because if you dont know that there is an extra aspect to the activity, then you dont know. Guess this is on me too eh? i mustn't have been showing them properly.
-
At that point then it’s up to you to decide if you wanna stick around or not. There’s no way for you to know whether they’re ignorant of the situation or refusing. If I don’t want to do a pressure trial, and my teammates leave, then I won’t get mad because that’s their prerogative. That attitude should apply both ways. If you strictly do or do not want to do pressure trials then the only guarantee of that is to bring in a fire team. If you don’t want to do that, then you need to live with the consequences of that regardless of which side you’re on.
-
wow you should be a politician
-
I hate politics. I dislike hypocrisy and folks that don’t recognize it also.

the irony

of course i know what irony means. you really arent worth the time.
of course i know what irony means. you really arent worth the time.
It’s funny I was going to say the same thing 😘

While I can see your point, I think it should be the responsibility of those who want to do the Pressure Trials to make their own team since they want to do extra work in the activity, as opposed to players who simply want to do the base requirements for the completion. Having an expectation of random teammates to follow your lead isn't reasonable. Just my opinion though, take it how you will.

We’ve had this discussion already lol. Have a good day 👍🏻
-
My mistake; and you as well.

I don’t mind debating at all, but we’re on opposite sides of this one and I like you so there’s no need to do it again. You’re always respectful even when you disagree and that’s rare on here, so I hope we can respectfully debate something else later on.
