I like that nerf because they made other debuffs more viable and divinity guy can do whatever else. The only boss that actually require div is Rhulk imo. Also Bungie said they were planning this way before his rant on twitter.
-
If this was to make other debuffs more viable, they would not have then allowed divinity's bubble to stack with higher debuffs.
-
Give actual proof they said that “well before” salty’s rant

Thank you, watched it. Goes on to say “no concrete plans” Stupid streamer escalated the nerf on bungies priority list and made it happen.
-
Who actually cares about nerfs? Like my gameplay didn't changed at all, Divinity is still important, but now you actually might use other debuffs, same with Anarchy nerf
-
I haven’t used anarchy, divinity and linear fusion since the nerf, but each to their own
-
I used linears and divinity is still very useful on bosses with bad crit spots. Tractor cannon is just better and you aren't locked to be a support guy, you can deal a lot of damage, which is good. Linears are good on bosses with higher crit multipliers such as big harpy in Spire dungeon and GoS. It's all just a meta shift, it's always good, then we have a different meta, because it's just getting stale then you have to use linears and divinity for many years, just boring. The only pve meta I miss is 180 shotguns with old trench barrel
-
Editado por BC1 Edge: 5/19/2023 10:06:08 AMI get what you are saying, and changing the meta to mix the game up. Very good points. Its stupid how one guy whinging caused bungie to listen but other people complaining about the game in areas that needs improvement and bungie doesn’t care.

I think Bungie tries to cater to everyone, but they always do everything wrong. They cater too much in pvp for players, who don't even play pvp regularly. And same goes for pve, people wanted fings like GM's and master/day 1 raids to be harder, instead Bungie made everything harder, but not what hardcore audience wanted. Like day 1 was a joke and legend nightfalls aren't really hard or anything, but nobody plays them except casuals and for whatever reason it became harder (longer at least) to complete for the exact same trash reward. Same goes for weapon balancing and other stuff. Bungie always do something wrong, they rarely satisfy both audiences, they picked this path themselves, they don't want to lose both audiences, they always said that they listen, but they always listen to the wrong feedback or they just can't understand what's wrong with the problem
-
I think their “intent” is to cater for everyone by believing that catering to streamers caters to everyone
-
In some case it's true, because most streamers with big audience have a casual audience, like top players rarely watch streamers like gernader jake, datto and others, because why would they wanted to watch guide content or be carried in trials if they already can do it themselves? I'm not saying that listening to streamers is a right idea, but they definitely provide a better feedback than forums or Reddit. Bungie never catered to pvp streamers for example, pretty much everything they done is the opposite what streamers and hardcore audience wanted in pvp and pve hardcore audience got screwed as well. Both sides aren't satisfied with Bungie's actions actually, not only casual side, as I said they try to cater to both sides at the same time and that's why both aren't satisfied, but at least they aren't leaving the game and still playing
-
That doesn't actually refute his point though. Streamers have WAY more influence with Bungie. Why even deny it???
-
The same as casual players, but they deny that.
-
Lol so true! We should game end all streamers.
