The game has an identity problem. Are we a powerful Guardian who grinds pinnacles to get stronger? Or do we just grind to the minimum required level for X and then always be a weak feeling regular human?
Might as well take our light, dark, and space magic away and call us "Rank and File Privates fighting tanks with BB guns."
If streamers wanted a more difficult game, add in a difficulty option called "Elite Streamer Badass" and have no revives, 1 hit kills from every enemy, 30 minute super cooldowns, 10 minute ability cooldowns, team wipes to orbit, non stunnable champions, all stats at a baseline of 30, no exotics allowed, limited ammo reserves on primaries, and the whole thing is timed at 45 minutes. Once you select the difficulty mode, your account is locked until you complete it. And what are the rewards you ask? Nothing. Absolutely -blam-ing nothing. You get your account back. Have fun!

I would actually pay to see a streamer play on this difficulty you mention. 🍿
-
Me too!

Best post ever.
-
Lol best post ever
-
It's funny how yall really think the only people who like the difficulty increase is "elite streamer badasses." Cope.
-
Riley Reloaded would still somehow beat that lightless.
-
We hear you loud and clear. All solo players with less than 1820 power will now be reset to zero and lose every last unlock and purchase they ever made. We hope this streamlines the experience for you. Eyes up guardians!

This needs to be less satire and more a reality. So they can stfu and stop "potentially" influencing Destiny's direction.
-
I think Bungie needs to give all of us the tools to make the game as difficult as we want it to be. Remember 5 of Swords? Same concept.
-
Ok...I would watch that.
-
The last paragraph is fun. Lol

increasing difficulty wouldn't make them happy, just look what's happened, bungie gave them master nightfalls, they became to easy, so whaa whaa not difficult enough. bungie gave them grand masters and yep whaa whaa to easy. no matter how difficult it gets streamers and sweats will eventually smash them and start blubbing again whaa whaa to easy. its never ending with streamers
-
Erm.. it should reset after the weekly reset. Cus bungee would lose a TON of peoples accounts
-
I'm kind of leaning towards "no". It would do some streamers good to start a new account just so they can see how bad that actually is. Since they're the ones dictating how the game plays now and all, you know...
-
I feel like this was sarcasm. Was that sarcasm? I sure SEEMED like sarcasm....
-
WHAT?! Me sarcastic? Noooooo...

Editado por Corrick II: 3/21/2023 4:27:10 AMThat would be perfect except they would hate it, like when any normal person suggests to a no life elite that if they want to make it hard, then use different loadouts and no mods. It is entirely possible for a streamer to make the game more "challenging", they just choose not to do it, and whine for Bungie to do it for them the way they would prefer.

One of the reasons Riley Reloaded is probably my favorite Destiny content creator at this point. Doesn't complain about the lack of difficulty, just makes up his own crazy difficulty challenges like beating Witch Queen only using an arc soul or something else insane.
-
I've never heard of that streamer. Sounds like one I'd actually enjoy watching.
-
I arguex with Salta on Twitter 2 seasons ago about why he wouldn't get off Arc HOIL or Void Wormgods. His response "I'm not gonna nerf myself and make the game harder. That's Bungie's job." Certified 🤡💩
-
Then he's not a streamer who deserves my attention.
-
-
I know. I see people like Press Continue and Lobos Jr making their own From Software challenge runs and it makes me realize just how soft D2 streamers really are.
