Spinners are now triggering
Update: try to do a clean boot and see if that gets you online. This got me past the loading screen.

Day 4,still no update on the steam PC issue, only that it's being investigated. Any update at this point would be welcome. Definitely appreciate all the gamers who came up with the recommendations to get the game functional, but unfortunately didn't work for me or others.
What is the issue?
What is the timeline for resolution?
Chance of compensation for the time lost being unable to access the game?
Majority have been patient and nice about their inquiries but at some point it's going to escalate with the continued silence.

1 RespuestaI have no bitdefender program at all and I am still unable to get past the intro loading screen before character selection.

Gamers, wanted to give an update. The culprit in case is bit defender av. I went through and enabled a few services at a time and it was the one causing issue. My question is what could have changed in the update to no longer allow the av to run the game even with the .exe being listed in numerous exceptions. TL;DR - for me to play this new version of D2 bitdefender has to be uninstalled or disabled.

31 RespuestasUhm, you have PCA2 error for Destiny 2, which is related to Program Compatibility, and also AppHangB1 which may be caused by a third-party app interference among other things; have you tried a Clean Boot?

1 RespuestaI used the steam link app and launched the game then it started loading right. Now I am able to launch from pc like Normal.

16 RespuestasFor me it's bdagent.exe that's causing the interference. That's bitdefender.

6 Respuestastheyre actively asking people for dxdiag stats, which im guessing means they have some idea whats causing it? no idea really. currently installing the game on an external ssd to see if we can play the game that way lol. last ditch effort really before we just switch to another game for a few months
