What's with some players killing their own teammates in game modes like strikes, pvp and gambit? or even in open world? It's hard enuff for me to stay alive w/o some -blam!- bag doing some -blam!-.
Whether it's the just completed IB, or other modes, I find it annoying. Why give the enemy team an edge? And when I quit a match, I get a warning and a penalty (streak) But the idiot responsible... nothing
If you are very good at killing others, go try a 1v3 PvP mode, go solo a grandmaster with only toothpicks or run a whole raid with just headbutts, solo.
I'm not putting this on Bungie; gamers just have to conduct themselves better.
Any thoughts about this?

Editado por Jhon: 1/26/2023 8:51:31 PMWHEW!!! Quite the response -- some are animated & others just wild. And then there are those that are just out there. To everyone who shared their thoughts, thank you. Don't feel slighted if I did not comment on your post. I learned a lot from all the ones I read to further understand that doing the right thing can be difficult. Maybe one of the reasons many choose bad behavior is because it's easier. Here, some want a gg experience (thanks, guys) while others, not so much. Thanks to them, too, I guess, as it shows that there will always be that guy... yea, that right there. Again, thanks.

They just want your attention and affection.

People who do this usually die a lot because they expect to be carried through activities, so just pretend like you are going to revive them by holding the button until 95% then release it, repeatedly. Or run em over with your sparrow.

1 RespuestaAlways carry an eager edge sword in your back pocket.

Yeah I went into some nightfalls to try to finish off the nightfall triumph for gilding deadeye and was really wary of other players just in case. It's one thing if your doing it with friends and clan mates, but just leave others you don't know alone, who knows if they're working on a flawless triumph or bounty.

Typical scum that is sometimes found in this game.
-
I report players that intentionally kill teammates for grieving and sabotaging, and then move on.

1 RespuestaIf its in strikes or nightfall and players don't purposefully do it to ruin the game for one specific player, then for me it's fine. Its just players having a laugh. Hell, I've done it to people at the end of strikes with titan melee bash and cried laughing because their body went flying or i didnt expect it to kill them. I do it sometimes because the other players are in a fireteam doing it messing with one another, or a player seeming went afk. Most,if not all of the time, if I'm doing, it's with no malicious intent. I haven't seen anyone team kill in crucible and gambit, but I have seen a few players go afk, especially in IB last week. That is when it's annoying, not only do they not get kicked for being AFK, they are putting the team at a disadvantage and providing opposing teams free kills, which is unfair in my opinion.

Usually the people with no friends, they see others having a laugh doing it with their buddies and have to resort to doing it to ransoms as they have no one to play with.

Report them in game and move on. There’s always got to be that one person who just doesn’t get team play.🤷♀️

3 RespuestasEditado por Hugs: 1/13/2023 10:29:40 AMUnhappy people hate to see others happy. Many of Bungie's decisions (or lack thereof) have been horrible (and, of course many have been great), and therefore players sometimes get upset. Destiny is a game many players are passionate about, and when the game sucks or get stale, then sometimes players act up. Bungie can't please everyone all the time, ya know. And so, maybe some of those players are taking it out on others. I think, however, it's probably because players are just bored and find it fun or funny to kill others. Nothing too negative...but, I could be wrong and maybe they just want to see the world burn, so they do whatever they can to piss off others. Then again, it could be something as simple as maybe you did something to upset a player's flow of the game (by killing a dreg or something, haha, I dunno), and so they come after you. People are strange. I just know that people are usually pretty happy when the game is doing well, and less problems (like what you're asking about) tend to surface then. But yeah...I, too, get frustrated when players kill me in game with swords, or when a Titan shoulder chargers me into a wall or off a cliff. There goes my flawless! Then again, sometimes I find it funny as fook when it happens. lol. More often than not, though, it bothers me. Ultimately, it all boils down to the simple fact that too many people lack empathy. It's a cold world out there... and even in here, with all the trolls and clowns circling these forum posts. You know who you are, ya losers.

1 RespuestaThere's a difference between having a laugh with the mates and being rude to randoms. You and your mates are all on the same page, but randoms all have completely different backstories. In mine, and I am sure many others, Destiny doesn't come on until I get home from work. I'm tired, I'm a little worn out, so I just want to hop into some PvE stuff and just relax. You know what is not relaxing? Getting repeatedly Eager Edged, T-Bagged, and left behind multiple times in multiple Strikes/Seasonal activities. At this point, I have crafted my own The Other Half with Enhanced Eager Edge in order to combat the trolls I come across. Time to fight back.

1 RespuestaBecause it’s fun and I was bored so seems ok to me

This bare and hollow game is so broken that PvP now exist in all aspect everywhere in the game. Hahahahahahaha! Broken game!

1 Respuesta1 of 2 things is going to happen. 1: Eager Edge gets removed(not likely) 2: Fireteam collision gets removed(my money is on this)

1 RespuestaSounds like a skill issue

1 RespuestaThey have "Little PP syndrome"

7 Respuestas*laughs in stronghold titan* My usual tactic for dealing with eager-edgers and speed runners in strikes? I dont sprint anywhere, I don't shoot a damn thing. I let them do all the work. Especially if they speed run ahead into a darkness zone and promptly get killed. Im not rezzing them. In fact, when I finally catch up, I'll just stand there, staring at their ghost.
-
When I tried to say & do something here I was silenced by a mod. They protect bad players like what you've described.
-
Lashing out. I emote dance a lot In strikes… people seem to hate the crap out of that. “Why’s this guardian having fun in a video game!?😡” “Too much joy coming from this person”
-
They’re angry about SBMM.
-
The people that do this do it because misery loves company. They do it because there is no comeback for it and they can get away with it. Best bet is to not respond, what they are really looking for is your reaction. Just block them and move on. Not worth your time and effort getting upset about it. Block them and crack on with your day.

Several hundred players "Attacked" me in the Iron Banner strike, where is the mass report button ?

2 RespuestasEditado por Altorus, Sword of Light: 1/14/2023 1:24:22 AMHonestly, I don't mind it. I think it's funny. Now I would do it to random people all willy-nilly.
just kidding, I probably would. But only once per person, I promise
Sick and tired of it the number of times my patrolling has been runtimes by an agent of the witness is getting out of hand outrageous behaviour from these guardians
