They have uses during one round of Sorrow I got almost 20 finder bricks and 0 regular bricks. Though tbh if you're running a heavy linear or heavy gl than ya they kinda are since both weapons get like 1 per a brick and linears seem to be glitched since scavengers don't seem to increase that on linears.

Your 100% right Gls ,rls,machine guns and linear fusions are all a problem when it comes to getting ammo to drop unless running two specials which I hate doing incase I run out of ammo which has happend alot whilst playing with a double special weapon loadout

I wouldn't put rockets in there as I've gotten a lot of ammo out of finder bricks since you get 2 and I generally get 10 finders before 1 normal which only gives 3-5 depending on the rocket
