We need the old D1 tower to return!!! :)
Please give us the old tower from Destiny 1. The current tower feels beat up and the layout feels wonky, lots of holes in the layout and tight in certain areas. Since we lost factions there are too many dead spots.
We should have a construction celebration where we see improvements and a countdown to when the original tower will be ready for us to return to.

Why? The tower serves next to no purpose for the game as is. With 3rd party apps and the Bungie app itself being bounty collection or inventory management, the only reason to visit the tower is an occasional pit stop for anything story related and boiling down to a few voiced dialog and text wall these days. HELM manages seasonal stuff these days. It'd be more interesting to have a social space dedicated to clans that are able to be upgraded or updated with seasonal achievements the clan accomplished.

I'm sure they would upgrade it about as much as they did the eliksi area. Hell, they can't even decorate it as much as they used to for events.
