If you can find me the bit where they did ill gladly admit otherwise, but i dont think you actually read it. Second, think of it this way: In that gdc conference bungie made it clear that they have the means to actually find somewhat accurate measures of player sentiment by sending out random sample surveys and looking at in game player numbers. Which means they have more accurate metrics to judge it by than the people who come here. Im not sure if many of the people on this forum are aware, but everywhere outside of this place, the forums are basically considered to be a "containment board." A place where we assume the ne'er do wells will go, and generally leave them be on, so they wont cause trouble anywhere else. This forums sentiments are not shared by the majority of the active playerbase. This is a small, VERY vocal portion of the community, and nobody here really speaks for the community at large.
