Mods aren’t necessary when they die instantly anyways. Champs in base level content are just glorified yellow bars.

To be fair, Barrier Champions die before they can even utilize their shields. And Unstoppable Ogres just die, having mod just gives you slight bump in damage. But killing them 1 second faster.. eeh, I'll stick to my good gun instead of using unstoppable hand cannon. Besides, it'd be quite hellish job to program to check if "Timmy no Thumbs" has weapon capable for that since some weapons, like [armory]Devil[/armory]'s Ruin has built-in Unstoppable in it's beam. Or they can just swap their weapons during the loading screen.
