ABE was a nerf for hunters mostly and to some degree solar Warlocks. Since it has literally no effect on 75% of subclasses, I guarantee you it will stay.
The only other option is to change Hunter jumps to something more in line with Titans and Warlock "floating jet pack" style jumps.
Otherwise, the change was very needed and will stay.
So if you're going to beat this dead horse, start asking for new Hunter jumps.

Punishing the players who use all movement options was needed? No. Not at all. Per Bungie it was to lower skill gap. because lower people couldn't handle looking up. It's garbage and shouldn't exist. It's blatant RNG on shots even if you're directly on target and at 100 AE.

Editado por Facelauss: 11/24/2022 4:29:15 AMIt was a nerf to every weapon in the game for every* class, get out of here with your weird class divide -blam!-
-
Funny, I only notice a difference on my Hunter and very niche dawnblade stuff. Get out of here with your blanket statements.
-
Ok, but whats more of a blankste statement as you like to call them? You only noticing anything on your Hunter or Hours on Hours of testing and actual dev Statement?
-
I have been very specific. Out of 12 total game subclasses, only 5 were an issue due to the aerial ability around the jumps. 4 of those 5, or 33% are Hunters. Warlocks we're .08%. Titans 0%. Learn the difference between generalization and specificity. People were asking for a nerf to Hunters verticality for YEARS. You had two options, the current ABE system, or completely changing Hunter Jumps and yet another Dawnblade rework. Since changing Hunter jumps would be far more noticeable and arguably a worse change, you now have ABE. Keep beating the dead horse. It won't change.
-
OK first of all where have you been specific before? all i saw was you saying how YOU EXPERIENCED the changes, no numbers nothing. Second lets just go with people asking for a hunter jump change for years. How is completely changing the jumps or trashing the in air gunplay for the whole game (titans /warlocks /hunters; PvP/PvE) by adding a unnecessary rng system to it the only two options? why lower the skill ceiling instead of making it easier for players to dip their toes into that skill? why punish players for investing their time and effort into an aspect of the game they love, just because players that dont even appreciate any chances theyre given complain about it, and not even en masse (trust me, the majority had little to no problem with it) And what made people angry the most: why lie about the new system youre introducing instead of maybe having people that care about it and have a generall understanding of how the community will react test it thouroughly? its the fact that we where promised AE to be a skill change, you could build into and become good at? so as long as youre no dead horse, im not beating one
-
Sorry but just sounds like a bunch of cringe crying. Good players still wreck people in the air. Skill ceiling that.
-
Ok, you’ve just proven you have no idea of how pvp plays in d2 rn and how much of an issue ae really is. You showed complete ignorance towards facts and logic and the incapability to handle arguments. You tell others to stop crying about a bad system but when confronted with arguments by people who have invested their time into testing and know what theyre talking about, all you do is cry about how its not bad. No sound arguments or Intelligable input on that topic coming from you, so please do everyone a favor and stop trying to defend a bad system you dont even care about.
-
It literally changes all weapons, the fact that you don’t think so shows your lack of understanding for pvp.
-
🤣 oKaY More blanket statements
-
It literally lowers the accuracy and aa for all weapons. It was throughly described to do so by Bungie themselves in the twab that they explained when it launched. You literally don’t have an argument.

-
You were decimated quite soundly in this debate by data and facts. You changed your tone and started insulting when that became apparent. Way to go 👏
-
No, he’s got a point. Hunters have a way easier time shooting in air than titans and warlocks do (except for solar warlock and titans with lion ramparts).
-
Previously anyone could jump and land shots. Regardless of class, I play them all very evenly. It wasn’t hard to hit shots in the air on Titan and warlock subclasses/builds you didn’t mention.
-
It was massively in favor of all Hunter subclasses and one outlier Warlock class. Hence the nerf. They don't reverse nerfs, aka quit beating a dead horse and crying bc Hunters can't pogo vert kill so easily anymore. Typical Hunter main bs. You're not fooling anyone bro.

Editado por Facelauss: 11/24/2022 6:15:58 AMMy play time for the classes according to Bungie are 34% Titan, 32% warlock, 32% hunter. Which makes me a Titan “main” and I play the classes extremely equally. If you actually look you might notice my Titan is holding sunset stuff for example. However I’ll equip at level weapons to show you how ignorant you are being trying dismiss actual facts for “omg hunter”. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. AE literally was a nerf to all weapons on all classes.
-
It was… but in effect it hurts hunters more because they had an easier time flexing air combat because of their jump. Which I think was the actual intention (and not just for stompees)…
-
Congratulations on finally agreeing that it hurt all weapons on all classes and again as someone with over 5000 hours in D2 it hurt gunplay on all classes.
-
Finally nothing… I never said it didn’t. I said it affects Hunters more than Titans and Warlocks because of the nature of their jump mechanic. Are you saying all characters jump mechanics are the same?

It’s also not hard to understand that AE was a nerf to all weapons

And which class spends the most time in the air shooting their weapons because firing a weapon doesn’t cancel their jump mechanic Mr. 5000 hrs?
