I'm just curious of the communities idea for a raid or dungeon? Whether it be serious or satire but if you was to design a raid, how would it be?
Some of you have a amazing knowledge of the lore, others can create brilliant weapons and mostly you all have cracking sense of humours! So build on eachothers ideas?
- where would it be?
- what encounters?
- what would the challenges be?
- weapons obtained?
- will it tie into the story and lore or are we gonna go again a overload, barrier, unstoppable screeb just because? Could sweeper bot be the next dungeon boss? All sweep and no play....
I'm just bored of the moaning and the criticising posts so thought it could be fun!
..if not... I'll just watch it sink to the depths of the forums 😂

On Mars, valus ta'aurc has returned from the dead, he now has 2 miniguns and shoots 50 missiles at once.

I've got one set up back in D1, basically going through and wiping out Firebase Epsilon, a problematic Siege Dancers base outside of Meridian Bay. First encounter would have been infiltrating the base, either through stealing a harvester or (upon thinking over it just now) running through no-mans-land. Second encounter was destroying the AAA emplacements, with maybe a boss overseeing that particular area. First definite boss was Bracus Ta'aan, the Epsilon 2IC and commander of the mixed-units spec-ops team posted there. The team would have to defeat him and the entire spec-ops crew through maneuvering, area control/denial, and weapon emplacements. Third encounter would be moving through troops falling back to the final boss room. The Siege Dancer Valus would have to be forced out of cover by previously used weapon emplacements. Hard part here would be a constant stream of adds, with the number of minors and majors increasing as out-of-base reinforcements arrive in the last half or third of the fight. If I had to think of a weapon reward, it'd probably be a perk-modified projection rifle (heavy grenade launcher).

Make Randall the Vandal the boss at every encounter as we chase and catch up with him throughout the dungeon...that is the most my brain dead brain could think of right now...maybe actually do this on a ketch (because we haven't had enough of that yet this season ; ) )

4 RespuestasI love this idea! But I'll need time to properly thin about it. Also, I'm with you on the monotony of complaint-postong on here. Thanks for coming up with a fun idea!
