Chaos reach is an add clearing super that works on bosses under the right circumstance. It can also be stopped mid super to help shorten the time to your next super, which can be invaluable in endgame.
Maybe you should dive deeper into being a Warlock, really commit. You'll find that you can run circles around titans and hunters in pve.

I've used it in raids and gm's plenty of times. It works great, give it a try. I like to run claws with it. Just don't shoot it at the boss and expect to survive.

It's only good for single target dps if you're running the boots. Otherwise it's all about add clear. It's really good in higher level content at add clearing because you can cast from long range. Hardly misinformation, it's something anyone can discover for themselves.

It must hurt to be that wrong I'm so sorry you don't know what you're talking about however, chaos reach isn't an add clearing super with or without geomags. It's not a roaming super. It's an extended one and done super with an early deactivation perk meant to preserve super energy so you can use it again quickly. It's unfortunate that perk was nerfed awhile back, but that doesn't make it an add clearing super.

Geomags only benefit is to extend your super if you're constantly dealing damage. Why would they even create that if the super was originally intended for boss dps?

Add clearing supers are [i][u][b]roaming[/b][/u][/i] supers. What makes you think they'd create chaos reach as an add clearing super in the face of storm trance, the de facto add clearing super since D1? Furthermore if you're hitting ads with chaos reach are you not dealing constant damage to extend its duration? Your logic is flawed. I hope I enlightened you a little bit.
