I'm not one to quitting match, but cheaters are out of control in console and they're not that hard to detect, and Bungie is doing nothing about it.
If I find a match where three or more players on the opposite team are cheating, I'll report them and then I'll leave.
What is it that makes Bungie think that me, leaving a match like that ruins the game experience more than the cheaters?
Maybe an anti-cheat is already working for PC, but for console they have nothing and it's outrageous.

This post was funny as it highlighted people saying, “ you can’t cheat on console”… aside from this or that thing. Lolol

There is no mods for console itself. Consoles are built to not take in any information other than a remote and controller. There is no way to inject code into a game because all of this type of communication is blocked by console and there is no way around it. The reason 360 had so many mods was because it DID intake information. Because it let you download your profile via USB stick, cheating companies had that as a backdoor to put any information they needed to for mods. 360 also let you play online and later unlock achievements and stuff when you came back online. This also made a backdoor for things like JTag. But Xbox One and Series X | S have no way to force it information such as different coding. There are no wallhacks, infinite super or heavy, flying in the air, etc. Just again, Cornus Zen because it piggybacks through the controller which has limited information it can pass through it. This is like extra aim assist and small mods. Nothing game breaking. I only seen ONE cheater on Destiny. It was 360 and he had unlimited Golden Gun when the match started. PC is different and cheating is a huge problem on it.

Id rather quit than play an unenjoyable session. If team balancing is trash this is on bungies side

6 RespuestasHow do you cheat on console, except maybe for moddable 3rd party hardware or network manipulation? How do you know for sure they are cheating? Just a suggestion and im not saying its the case but people in general scream cheater to easy when they die

I play destiny since D1 and the skill gap in D2 is pretty much non existent. That makes room for toxic players and broken loadouts IMO

1 RespuestaEditado por Kirka: 10/15/2022 8:29:11 AMI'm playing people who have ABSOLUTE network advantage whether it be due cheating or other measures. There's people teleporting, not taking damage, shooting you before they're on your screen etc. And I have direct fiber. And 2000 hours of crucible so I have some idea what's going on. It's BS. Simple as that. There's always some laglord(s) on either team getting 30-40 kills and they're unaffected by the lag or benefitting from it. Or maybe causing it on purpose. Rant over. I don't care I only play once in a while now. Used to play a lot but not when it's a mockery.

Just play destiny while streaming 4k videos across every device on your home network and make sure you console is on wifi and not hardwired in. The game rewards potato internet connections

Editado por Kuzie: 10/14/2022 11:31:45 PMSeriously, don't waste your time this crowd ain't listening..PVP in D2 has developed into a toilet full of scummy players willing to do whatever it takes to gain clout, rewards and bragging rights...Bungie killed any chance of the scene going Esport due to a massive lack of dealing with the issues. Most of the top tire teams which have some turly fantastic players in have all but died off.. those left get constantly stream sniped by these individuals..xim & zen are alive and well within D2. You lose a match move on Bungie introduced the time-out feature knowing full well players are sick of getting stomped by the BS you mentioned.. unfortunately it's the new players that get a raw deal.. Can I see things improving before lightfall No..

Clearly lobby balanced one sided 99% chance to lose game and my patience at the time 4). Disfunction on 3rd time in a row 5). 1-2 leavers/quitters in my match. As many games as I’ve played to be honest I have not felt like cheating was involved. I feel people can’t miss anyway with these easy to use guns in this game. It’s when the teleporting and appearing through walls that pulls the ghost out…

That's rich
leaving a match like that ruins the game experience more than the cheaters?
Not a comparable subject, you both ruin others' game
