AutoRifles need some love in pvp
You are at such a disadvantage using a auto rifle atm.. there rage and damage fall off is terrible and absolutely tank there TTK.. all other primary weapons out class them in a major way why must they be so bad? yes there TTK is good when u are getting max damage but u can only do that at spiting distance and leaves u open for sub's and special weapons. other weapon types are able to map people with ease.. please for the love of god bring them up

Yeah,like....give me an Ar15...you you use an Uzi....50 yards..let's see who's more accurate. Nope...Bungie says a SMG or even a sidearm should win...Lol

They are good vs straight liners handcannons were still better even at 26 per shot

3 RespuestasThey usually do. The problem is that all the Sweaties love hand cannons, and viable AR means HCs are less dominant. So the complaints are immediate. Which means ARs get nerfed pretty quickly.

They're actually fairly decent just no one is really using them. I've been using the last breath a fair bit and its pretty fun.

Honestly I think all the autorifles need some buffs except for the 600 rpm,those are surprisingly good in crucible. Same kill time as shayura’s while also having more range.

Hard Light is surprisingly good now.

The summoner has been my go two the last two season. I got a roll with heating up and golden tricorn and it’s been one of my favorite guns lately.

2 RespuestasAuto rifles are not long range weapons and trying to use them that way is silly. If you want less of a drop off then use a scout or pulse rifle. Auto rifles are perfect right where they are and i have no problems getting kills with them, and im not even great at the game. Maybe try adapting to the way the game works instead of crying to get the game adapted to you.

They are so close to being a sid weapon type, they just need a little bit more. That 7% recoil reduction pulse rifles got, and a bodyshot increase for an easier optimal ttk will help a lot.

They are WAY more forgiving than scouts or high-impact pulse rifles. Miss a shot on Jade Rabbit and that AR will eat you if it's in range. If they killed faster what do subs do? They are very roll dependent though, and my most effective AR makes use of both Killingwind and Rangefinder. They don't peek shoot well and so suffer in a peek shooting meta (what we've been in since the last autorifle meta ended). Making them more effective would make them dominant again, and all other primaries collect dust leading to a very boring meta. I think they are in a pretty good state. Ammit AR2 is a sleeper right now and my all-time favorite is The Last Breath. Get yourself a good roll and they melt.

They need love everywhere. Unfortunately, Bungie themselves have stated more or less that they're supposed to be completely useless, unfortunately.

I think a good fix would be giving them more competitive TTK but make them harder to aim. More like the AK from CS 1.5, not so few bullets to kill or that fast of a TTK but actual recoil to handle. Also reduce aim assist on hand cannons.
