Solstice no worth it
If you dedicate like 8 hours a day , you'll get one done in about 4 or 5 days x by 3 if you want to guild by time your finished you have about a week of guided title. A week? Really bungie?
Not to mention its laborious tasks you need to complete x 3. The best looking armour you have to pay for it.
Just seems pointless and not fun

Well, you can grind out the seal (not too grindy with Mayhem for this week), which I just got done this morning. Then, there's the exotic sparrow you get by completing one of the challenges. So, you don't have to buy anything.

its so fun i promise. i finished in a few days 1 gunter. i suck at trials so i did dungeon instead for guilded title... i got ghally AND catalyst!!! i would never lfg but solstice nudged me. made a new friend/guardian along the way who kicked a conny at 3rd chest cause he wanted to skip it. so cool. solstice 2022 worth it for me! -

9 RespuestasDunn if anyone has realised but we don't have to be able to do things in like 3 days. When Bungie releases stuff that can be done quickly, people complain that its too easy and there's nothing to do afterwards. If it takes a while, people complain about the grind literally a no-win sitch

The event doesn't give amazing armour unfortunately. Unless you have been unlucky with armor rolls or didn't invest in one of the characters, then not much point. I fully kindled 2 pieces just to see how it rolls, even with focusing, the armor didn't come close to what I already have with weird stats distribution. Although I had one drop at 68 with 30 discipline , 20 recov, and 12 resilience which filled a gap for me but it was a random drop from Sever activity. I love 120s even though they aren't in a great space right now. The gun seems to be PvE oriented, so got my God roll, will kindle some helmets for looks, then move on to wait for next Tuesday to buy my last austringer to craft 😂

Finished it but armor rolls were low. Then focused 4 armor pieces at Crown. Much better. It was something to do I guess.

I finished one character in about 11 total hours You can do about 6-8 triumph's all at once on the throne world, it's just immensely boring so I couldn't be bothered to do a second character

To say it’s not worth it is puzzling. You don’t have to do it and it’s a free event.

5 RespuestasFor me not worth it. The only thing I wanted were certain rolls of the HC and I got them quick only to be disappointed big time. However for others specially newer players it's worth it because it's a good farm for armor and stuff.

1 RespuestaYa f** that … that’s why I only log in for a little everyday and work on my one main character, idk why the hell people are doing all 3 characters, straight boring can’t even stay on more then hour n half, tbh if they actually made the loot worth while , or hell even introduced a new exotic with the event I would grind it out , but those days are long gone, Bungie isn’t as creative anymore … 🤦🏻♂️

Your maths are wrong but your original point is right. Solstice 2022 isnt worth playing. It doesnt celebrate what we achieved this year anymore. It doesnt celebrate our powers (where are elemental days/ empowerements ? I was excited to try those with solar and void 3.0) The "BrAnD nEw AcTiViTy" is EAZ but simplified at a point its not even funny anymore. Armor looks terrible and shaders dont go well with it, and the glows do not help. The ONLY good thing is the overflow glitch from the handcanon and the handcanon itself x) So...once you have a good HC you are pretty much done with the event. (No i wont mention the 10$ upgrade card, its just another way of targeting players wallets through an event if you are dumb enough to buy this thats your right) At least it gives me time to play something else x)

It's never been worth it seeing how all these events are to promote Eververs instead of making a fun interesting event for the player base. Especially knowing how well off Bungie is from the player base supporting them. So basically you guys are supporting a lazy business making them even lazier as time goes on. Oh, and who gives a crap that it's f2p, it's not like Bungie is special as if they were the first to create events like this. Just some gaming companies actually put effort into their game, unlike Bungie.

The armor looks terrible, and it's just so grindy. I do feel that they don't need to have something that's so quick and easy to do but I wish that they would stop with the overly repetitive events. The bonfire event is just so boring, run from one corner to the other to kill somebody throw a ball in the center and kill a boss at the end. I would rather have objectives to complete outside of our regular weekly all around the Solar System. Then let's not even get started on how expensive it is to try and get a decent stat rolls on the armor (which I will skin because it looks HORRIBLE) which never happen.

Horrible event for what amounts to cosmetic gear. Why would I grind for this gear when I already have the armor I want masterworked with the stats where I want them? If it was artifice armor, then it would be a different story. How many guardians do you ever see wearing solstice armor? Obviously during the event, but right after, gone. Nobody is using it. Not to mention, the weapons are junk too. I haven't touch Destiny since this event started and looks like I won't until next season. This was clearly used as a filler to get us through until next season. If you expect people to grind, you need to make the grind worth it. Meh armor and bad weapons isn't it.

After that I am ignoring the event and going back to farming the season of the haunted content and seasonal bright dust challenges. I’m not wasting my life on grinding armor neither am I buying the glows. Doing objectives on the armor to upgrade from Y1-Y4 was so much fun and I loved doing it and now you have to do activities like strikes and Gambit to upgrade it? Wow this isn’t worth my time and life 🙄

So it is worth it And the armour u pay for is for the subclass glow It’s your own fault if u didn’t play years ago for other sets. White glow is cooler in my opinion
