Put these guys in prison Officer: Why? They're better than me. Officer: Huh??
Are the top players afraid of a fair fight?

No they're just human beings wanting to have a good time instead of a sweaty time 24/7. It's like being at work and being told you're doing everything because you're good at everything and don't need a break either. It doesn't cease to amaze me that in the end. If these people squealing for a prison were good they wouldn't be talking so much.

Sacrifice the many for the sake of a few? If you want relaxing, go play Minecraft. PvP is a competitive game mode and it should be competitive for everybody.

Not arguably forced to constantly sweat because the small loud minority keep crying foul. PvP in D2 competitive? Hahahahaha! That's a good one. I see you got jokes. 10 points bud o/

The small majority that keep crying foul are the streamers and sweats who throw tantrums whenever Bungo makes any attempt to insulate new players from no lifers so they don't just drop the game after 4 days when they're steamrolled for no reason.

I'm telling you that it will never be competitive. We're long passed the point of it ever being competitive. So long as you can use whatever you want in this games PvP you will never see it ever be competitive. With the mention of streamers you've just lost any credibility to debate in my eyes. Are they some of the best players in the game? Sure. Is it there fault we have the flawless pools and freelance? Nope. The problem is people keep shooting at scapegoats bred out by Bungie and it's a great success for them. Much harder to point the finger of blame at Bungie's feet if they can make you blame someone else instead. You prove that by blaming any streamer. The other side here is a case of laziness / poor motivation / high expectation and so on when it comes to PvP. To quote Saladin "If you turn up hoping you have what it takes , you won't". You need to understand that going into PvP especially for the first time you're going to get pushed around a lot. By the top and the average. Especially as a new light. This isn't a board to play on if you're going to cry about it and not do anything to improve. "But how do you improve if you're getting steamrolled" - If you're getting steamrolled that often then it's not a game issue......it's an issue of ones self. But acceptance is a bitter pill to swallow in destiny when it comes to self blame and reflection. I'll quote Q here "If you can't take a bloody nose then I suggest you run home and crawl back under your bed, it's not safe out here". I've gone on quite the tangent. But I'll end on this quick note. What PvP needs right now is a complete re construction of it's match making system to suit the many. Not the few who keep on screaming at one another (the casual and the top).

Why not just make every player start out in raids and GMs with no practice whatsoever and blame it on them when they fail. It's no different than PvP.

Lol I have one foot out the door dude. This game's PvP sucks and then those same people come to the PvE side and beg for raid carries. This whole community is utter garbage. Justifying there being no progression system for new players so they just get steamrolled in PvP (and then having the audacity to say they deserve it) and quit because that's not actually fun. Go look up the people streamers and YTers kill in PvP on destiny tracker. They're all new light or below average players. You follow a bunch of fakes 🤣
-
Feel free to check the list of people I follow. My Twitch name is the same as my forum name. If you're going out the door , at least let me hold it open for you. Don't need you straining to walk out under the weight of all that bitterness.
-
It'll be the first time someone in this community hasn't been a selfish -blam!-.
It'll be the first time someone in this community hasn't been a selfish -blam!-.
I try not to be selfish and sometimes trying to see the bigger picture can be pretty tough when emotion is involved. At any rate, you going out that door or?
-
Lol, bigger picture in a game that can barely sustain half a mil players. This guy's got jokes.
-
Lol, bigger picture in a game that can barely sustain half a mil players. This guy's got jokes.
Oh boy.........trying to swing my own jab back on myself. Ah well reflecting is something I guess. Half a million and that would mean half of that is the solid PvP base foundation...... Okay okay numbers aside. There is a bigger picture here but you're not interested in seeing it. It's enough to look for when the company is still making profits from a concurrent solid player base. Still I gotta ask again. You going out that door or?

In competition you should be playing competitively, not pub stomping. I fully believe a lot of high kd players just farm and genuinely don't want a fair fight.

You gonna tell me the sky is green next? The very fact people call anything in Destiny competitive is a joke in an of itself when there are meta breaking pieces of gear in the game. There is no fair and balanced in Destiny. I didn't want to say this but so long as people keep trying to pick on the top , the top will continue to respond in kind. 6 win resets for example. These guys know the game very well and will always find ways to get around the prisons. I firmly believe anyone who advocates for freelance and flawless pools isn't interested in fairer match making. They're a unified small group of self centered passionate but blind players. Who if they were stomping and farming wouldn't bat an eye at the true issues in the game. Both modes solve nothing and give Bungie an excuse to not fix their match making problems.

An following from that I told you it's a joke in and of itself. Putting words in your mouth would've been something of a different nature. You used "competitively" in the same vein to boot. If you don't want words putting in your mouth, at least be sure you don't use those words to begin with.

Semantics. You're telling me D2 should be competitive no? As I told another dude. It never will be. Not this late in the game.
Semantics. You're telling me D2 should be competitive no? As I told another dude. It never will be. Not this late in the game.
It's not semantics at all? Lol what?? I never said Destiny is competitive. Stop making -blam!- up.

The defensiveness you're showing proves it well enough. Gotta admit I always ask 1 , 2 part question to people like yourself. Why do you do it? Try to actively get defensive once you're caught out? You never said Destiny is competitive. Your words are saying you think it should be. Key words here are should and think. Keep up Saint. You're awful slow today.

You're trying to make -blam!- up to fit your internal narrative, repeatedly now. Quote where I said destiny is competitive or go off some more about nonsense that I didn't say. Though I already know what's coming.

Editado por Althanash: 6/14/2022 9:42:48 AM"It's nothing like that, it's competition, not collaboration. In competition you should be playing competitively, not pub stomping." Your words. Not mine, not the other forum members. Yours. I'm not fuelling my own narrative. I'm telling you what your saying and what it means to people other than yourself. Whether you like it or not is of no relevance. Not my fault if you were vague or didn't read responses clearly. Competition and playing competitively........therefore showing a want or thought process for a competitive D2 experience. Which it will never be. Hence it being a joke. Now since you're on the train of being defensive. The broken record pattern begins. So I have a choice. Stick with this snake eating itself. Or move on. I'll take the latter. If I truly wanted to put words in your mouth I would do so bluntly and in a lot more straight forward of a move. If anything, try not to make a false accusation with poor founding in future. It's bad enough you didn't read everything I posted, much less comprehend the process I did to get to where I'm talking from. Good Day. Sir.
