Destiny uses combat rating, and combat rating is a completely trash system. I have a .89kd this season, why? Because my combat rating is a 140. And every match I go into I’m the best player, and I’m no where near a top tier player. I have friends 30-50 lower that can kill me in a 1v1 like I don’t know how to hold a controller. I have another friend who has a combat rating of 75, this guy gets to boast all the titles “unbroken/flawless….” I can 20 - 0 him in a 1v1 and not even pay attention to what I’m doing. He goes into lobbies with combat rating players 60-80. Now I will say most people below 90 really are trash, but somehow some people manage to keep a low combat rating and are pretty good, I don’t know personally anyone with a combat rating above 180 who is not a bada$$. But me as a perfect example of why your system is trash, just look at my history and ask how in the f~~~ do I have a 140 combat rating, because your system is a joke

Editado por Sohsuh: 5/12/2022 4:36:02 PMMine is 126 and I am usually always the best player on my team, and I have an 8% winrate this season only. I am not good enough to carry teams so I don't know why this broken system is in place because it's ruining my experience and making it unplayable. This system is broken beyond belief it's such a joke that they are radio silent on it and actually leaving it like this. What good is a map or IB changes or anything with this pathetic lobby balancing broken trash?

Editado por SirHeadPoppington: 5/12/2022 11:09:47 AMI don't think it does use combat rating for IB? Just for survival. Also how do you know your combat rating?

You can find it on trials report.
-
I found it on destiny tracker. I wonder if it's character specific or account based in game cause mine on dtr is 93 on hunter and 125 on other two classes 😆. Wish these things were still in the app like in D1.
I have another friend who has a combat rating of 75, this guy gets to boast all the titles “unbroken/flawless….”
For what it's worth my combat rating is like 100 something, and I have both the Flawless and Unbroken seals. It's not because I'm good at the game or anything, I just played a lot of matches and eventually lucked out lol

My combat rating for survival is 248… I hardly EVER player PvP. But I’ve been around since destiny started. I did a lot of end game content. Haven’t recently. I’m in the bottom 50% for PvP across the board. Soooo all of you with 90s and 120s saying good players have higher ratings… yeah… not the case. I think it has more to do with time played maybe(?)

Well all unbroken is is playing enough games. Survival has sbmm so everyone is playing at their own level winning ~50% but you move up with win streaks.

Editado por KingofNewark: 5/11/2022 6:26:00 PMWhere do you see combat rating? Is it only trials report that shows that or other sites? Top tier players with lower combat ratings probably means they will quit early if it looks like they can't pub stomp and have a rough start to a match. Combat rating goes down for quitting. Out of thousands of crucible matches I might've quit in the single digits because I had to leave for irl reasons. I have a 142 combat rating according to Trials Report.

Editado por SirHeadPoppington: 5/12/2022 5:30:13 PMSo you're telling me you can leave a load of quickplay games to get a low combat rating then go in survival and have an easy time?
-
I have no idea. I just thought that it's weird when I saw in Trials Report a Flawless Gilded player had a slightly lower Combat rating then me even though their KD was much higher. I think it counts quitting matches as a big negative.

Easy place Is DestinyKd.com to find combat rating. And look at combat rating averages for teams, most of the time especially in solo queues destiny seems to keep the averages similar.

I heard the same, and I have always stayed even when getting stomped, the last week I have been leaving on purpose to try to lower my combat rating because I heard that did it, I let my 4 y/o play trials and survival for hours a couple days ago and often let him play, really because I have not cared about stats and enjoy letting him try. My combat rating went down about 0.20 with the better part of a week trying to see what influences it the most. Either I have too long of a history of not leaving or it doesn’t influence as much as people think
