There is literally no reason to participate rn actually. The event SMG is bugged and doesn't drop at all outside of the quest and this event was obviously so quickly thrown together that you can still get Etheric Sprials from the vaulted Tangled Shore destination from turning in medals.

Yeah, the Etheric Spiral thing is a classic Bungo bungle. They don't seem to be able to execute basic stuff without screwing up. Time after time. Maybe they should put a few people on testing, eh?

Yea I get that. I’m not a big conspiracy guy myself but stuff like this just happens way to often for me to think in unintended anymore. Not angry about it or anything I just think it’s planned

You also get the Heir Apparent Catalyst drop even if you already have the Catalyst from last year. The whole thing was half-baked. Eva needs to retire that terrible looking oven.

Thank you, I didn't know that. I got the curated and I'm happy wi that as I won't really use the SMG anyway.

Ahh the SMG is bugged? Makes sense now, been wondering if there was any other way to farm or at least grind for it. Thats pretty shitty :/
