Just as the title said. Where are glaives suppose to be in the meta? I understand they don't have to be top tier and can still be fun, but with the recent nerf to suppressing glaive I have to ask what is the idea behind them? They're a melee weapon that have no melee synergies. They're a ranged weapon with a horrible aiming and projectile time. And they're a protective weapon with a charge that directly conflicts with any other abilities they might have (looking at all the exotic glaives).
Currently as it stands right now it looks like Bungie wants it to be a jack of all trades master of none, which can make it a fun flexible kind of weapon, never top tier but good fun. But with the painful amount of hoops the average player has to go through to lean into any one of the glaive traits makes it far less viable as a flexible weapon.
So I ask again what are glaives suppose to do? Because as it stands right now its a movement tool for stasis hunters and was a tool for lots of invis when mobbed by red bars for hunter.

the purpose for me is there fun. I can surpress then go all ham on them. perfect for Unstoppables, Lightbearers and volatile rounds an unique combo of range and in your face, I suggest go for lightmag and anything to increase reload speed as well as projectile rounds when creating one and then learn to hip fire it Many of my friends we're slow to use it but now they use it so much there's are higher in lvl than mine but to each their own.
