Yeah some of my friends are always making references to anime and I’m like 😐
I don’t dislike anime I just don’t really watch it. I used to watch Naruto, elfen lied, death note, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh etc., but eh; nowadays i’ll watch a studio ghibli movie and that’s about it.

Death Note's first season had genuinely interesting writing, I think. I love to watch older hand-drawn animes because they tend to focus on plot rather than "haha isekai joke here".
