I was running the legendary lost sector Metamorphosis and noticed that if you break the crystals, which shield the major hive knights who block your path. The scorn snipers can easily kill the knight even with match game.
1 sniper can kill a full health knight with its arc sheild in about 20- 30 seconds. 3 snipers can melt these knights in about 5-10 seconds.
Even being 18 light over powered plus with sniper damage resistance, I'm still getting killed in 2-3 shots with 60 resilience.
Also keep in mind this legendary lost sector only has arc burn and the scorn snipers deal void damage. Doing the math, they roughly deal 100 damage per shot and seem to have a faster ROF over other snipers.

2 RespuestasDamage imho is OK. Both open world and activities. The bigger issue I still see are Champions (lost sectors in particular): - randomly regenerating shields/health despite being stunned - shielding each other and randomly changing positions resp going behind cover making it nearly impossible to kill one let alone both - teleporting. Bottom line sometimes a lost sector all stars aligned can be surprisingly easy. Next run same sector you stand no chance. I consider lost sectors personally among the most frustrating and least rewarding activities. Bungie have done an excellent job - thank you, Bungie!!! - with the legendary campaign being highly challenging BUT NOT constraining loadouts with artificial champion mod requirements and hence enforcing preset loadouts. Instead free choice, player fun and yet challenge. I wished we had the same flexibility and fun in lost sectors and nightfalls.

We do know that there is a bug particularly with enemy snipers that causes their shots to hit twice with a single shot. That's why in activities like gms, even with sniper resist mods on, you'll notice sometimes you survive the hit, and sometimes you die. It's completely out of your control. Really wish it would get fixed The issue with scorn snipers, is that I believe all the projectiles that come out of their single shot cone count as a full shot. It isn't dispersed damage as most scatter shot weapons have. Every projectile seems to be its own full blown shot, which means it's extremely difficult to deal with because even if they "miss" it still hits you and does full damage. Add on the snipers damage bug to that, and you've got probably the must frustrating enemy in the game to deal with.

Doing some of the legendary campaign missions felt like I was back in Halo 2 legendary. These guys either need damage reduction or less aim assist. Knights already destroy me with explosive fire spam. Dont need two of these OP enemies

No I noticed this too, not even doing lost sectors just stuff in Miasma, some of em barely do 1/2 while others get a clean 1 shot kill. I don't even know what this is but every time it happens it's always one that's super far away. And it's a 3 bullet spread, 7/10 times I dob't even see the rounds but I die anyway.

Was just running a regular lost sector (the one in Quagmire) and there was a scorn Sniper that hit me once and took about an 1/8 of my health bar away, his second shot hit me and took me down to 1/8 health. Something tells me scorn snipers are hitting crits like we do.

I have a theory. Old scorn raiders would hit you with 1 bulk damage hit... NOW. They seem to hit you 3 times for all 3 projectiles.

I'm waiting for Bungie to make the scorn sniper an exotic weapon drop for us - only to discover that it doesn't do anything to enemies

What makes it also a issue is the damn scorn have broken aim assist. Think day 1 gambit with Queens Breaker Bow with unlimited ammo and they dont need to reload. Got a reply from Bungie and they have been getting alot of response over the scorn and are looking into it. Expect to see something about it in a twab soon. Hopefully this week or next week.

12 RespuestasOverloads in lost sectors seem to be on the juice as well, I stunned one, hit him with a nova bomb, and two rockets and he tanked it all and then regenerated 3/4s of his health in a couple of seconds. I said nope, and then proceeded to leave.

It is why i guess they have included such things as the Solar + Arc resist mod & the Land Tank origin trait but whilst i appreciate Bungie are trying to make more 'challenging' content,they definitely need to re-adjust things,what definitely does seem to be bugged though is how more easily it is to die via 'Misadventure' & 'Architect',again especially in WQ content. In other seasons above soft cap,my Hunter build had only 20 Resist with Concussion + Sniper mods & Protective Light,which was a good enough defence to solo Master Nightfalls. Now however i'm running 70 Resist with Solar/Arc mod,Concussion mod,Protective Light & using the Land Tank origin trait & i am still weaker than i was in previous Season's,even when doing the same content i did before & not weaker in a good,challenging way but in a bad,tedious way,especially with the ridiculous ease to die by 'Misadventure' & 'Architect' now!
