Just remove contest mode after the the world first is verified.

Contest mode is so World first race is on equal footing.contest mode is no longer needed once the world first has been cleared . its purpose has been served, so remove it.
the joy of day one comes from running the raid blind, solving puzzles, without youtube guides. not from DPS meta checks. contest mode frustration and meta reliance compromises and betrays the fun of the blind run.

Yes and no.. it serves the purpose on keeping everyone equal but also so you can't just blow through the content.. cause to be fair we are stronger than we've been in a long time.. I think without contest this raid will be an easy one.. so lots more would get the 24 hour emblem (deserving or not)

i disagree. im paraphrasing but they have stated it multiple times that contest mode is for equal footing for world first. they stop us from blowing through content by time gating releases. what is the point of designing puzzles just for a few people to solve it. puzzles > DPS meta.

If they took off contest mode as soon as someone beats it they would then take off rhe 24 hour emblem.. cause it would be super easy to beat after the first team struggled to find strats
