Don't see this talked about enough, but please put the game down. Go outside, touch grass. If you're not enjoying the game , please stop, for a week or so , come back if you feel so inclined but don't force it.
-
Yes. Everyone please take a break next week. I would like to not sit in a queue for many hours. Thanks!

also drink water

6 RespuestasDisregard title. You keep gaming. Grind your little hearts out. Must keep playing until every resource is maxed, every god roll attained, perfect 400 stat armor build, and every raid minimal 100 completions. Eat those hot pockets, pizza rolls, and Cheetos. Chug those energy drinks, white claws, and coffee. Afterward you urinate in those 1 gallon jugs, leave them around your play space to insert dominance. You will be great. You will be a god. No one can stop you.

1 RespuestaEditado por PHIL E BLUNT: 2/15/2022 7:14:04 PMYou kids touch all the grass you want, just stay off my lawn!
-
Stop for 6 months come back when new content reaches its peak.

12 RespuestasI decided to take a break from the destiny grind and play something a little less involved. So I started Path of Exile... I never learn lol

1 RespuestaDo people feel the need for these public service announcements as some wired manifestation of projection or is it a classic case of captain obvious paired with a lack of self control.
-
Touch grass? I live in the countryside It's everywhere for the love of god I play games to get away from all the green
-
But what if we want to run Exorcism and skip the cutscene over and over?
-
2 RespuestasAgreed. I've only been logging in to get my free Bright Dust for the past several weeks.
-
This, Ive had roughly a month long break from Destiny, went away with family, swam in the pool and played a couple other games Ive had for a while was good to have the break and Ill feel refreshed for Witch Queen hopefully. Ill jump on this week fir the new mission and maybe grind out IB and a few bounties to prepare for the new chapter.

I work in the oil industry and work away for 2-3 weeks at a time. Keeps things fresh for me.
-
2 RespuestasI'd rather smoke it than touch it...

1 Respuestaim mentally unstable and schizophrenic i cant be around people longer than a couple of seconds. if it wasnt for gaming i wouldnt have a life.
-
Despite the childish responses, you're 100% right. 👍
-
Don't tell me what to do. You go touch grass yah hippie

1 RespuestaHaven’t played for months, I’m gonna play this Tuesday for WQ tho. I’ve touched enough grass.
that’s very thoughtful, thanks for actually caring about our sanity!
-
1 RespuestaIt takes a special type of person to A) try to tell complete strangers that you know what's best for them AND B) tell people not to grind too hard on a game that only gives the best stuff to those who grind the most. C) try in a backhanded fashion to claim those who don't absolutely love the state of the game are just "burned out" and need to touch grass. What a complete tool.
-
Thanks ,I’m going to book Three four balls at my local golf course on Sunday. I’m looking forward to it.
-
It is also in extreme cases called burnout. This happens when someone plays way too much and then gets board or even starts to hate the game even when they still have activities to do. It can take months before someone can return to the game if ever.
-
Touch grass? Is that a new update! AH YEAH!
-
Agreed. Dropped the game after bungie announced sunsetting and just came back this season. I don’t know what it is but I’ve been having a lot more fun with d2 than I ever did before taking the break. Decided to play very sparingly for the past few weeks until WQ, hoping it has a similar effect.
-
Ok I will take a break from pvp and do pve content
-
I mean the game has been pretty well dead for like 7 weeks. So at this point if anyone hasn't already they aren't going to. Also, let them eat cake if they want cake.
-
This game is a prime example of the sunken cost fallacy. Basically, a lot of people want to quit the game but won't because they've invested so much time and effort into it. Honestly, that's the only reason I still play.

19 RespuestasIf people are such nerds they have to be told this they have even bigger problems. My #1 issue with the gaming community is they normalize a completely virtual existence. Gaming SHOULD ALWAYS BE an addition to your life. Not your whole life.
