I don't know, dregs on both games have felt the same way. To me the difficulty in both games can be hit and miss. Sometimes a random cabal one hits you in a patrol zone and then you kill his 6 friends no sweat. Same in gambit, one match you feel unstoppable and the next you get killed by every enemy constantly.

True but bosses feel tougher could just be me, but I just think d1s ai is a bit more smarter since I saw a captain run and hide to let his shield recharge and my supers don’t one shot stuff, so it’s just my opinion

Nah Captains still do that in D2

Try fighting Mazon or whatever his name is in the EDZ lost sector Widow's Court

I seen him just stay in a corner, but he didn’t move when his shield came back

Well you're unlucky, enemy captains generally crouch run behind an obstacle

I mean I go to once side when his shield drops then when I go to the other and his shield is back he goes to hide in the other, so we are just in a infinite loop of cat and mouse

Dregs are cannon fodders, they have no choice on fighting you or not.

Yeah nah if you are expecting some top tier, highly trained super armored Barons walking around in a patrol you're wrong. Unless it's Randal, my man owns the Cosmodrome.

I think because of mods and artifacts, we can destroy enemies faster in d2. We did not have that in d1, so you had what the weapon could give you and that was it.

Probably I mean I saw the comment about the unstoppable ogre and just went to “unstoppable fusions and partial”
