So it's fair for bungie to restrict people just because of lag?
Honestly think that's a bit far in my opinion. Not everybody lives in a good enough area/can afford good, consistent internet. There's a list of reasons why people can't have good internet and I feel like it's unfair to restrict them for this.
Also, and I'm aware this is probably a lot easier said then done, but maybe try to make the lag uniform in a sense. PC lag looks different from console lag and I feel as if that creates some false reports of hacking seeing as I haven't been restricted once on my xbox, but my bf has been restricted 3 times now on his PC for lag. Same internet too. We are renting a room so the WiFi isn't really up to us or we would've upgraded by now.
And yes I'm aware being on the other side of a person lagging can be irritating, but as I've seen, It's much worse on their end then ours. And to be honest there's still not enough pve content for people who have kept up with the story to cover a 2 month restriction.
In conclusion, I feel like people getting restricted just for lag is a bit overboard. Honestly if they feel some action needs to be put into place then the restriction shouldn't be any longer than a week maybe two because two months for lag is just ridiculous.
Thoughts?

6 RespuestasD2’s PvP uses P2P, so one person’s below average internet connection can create a negative experience for other players. It’s perfectly fair for Bungie to suspend people for having a bad internet connection.

Editado por SolarCerberuS: 12/28/2021 10:01:36 PMGet off wifi Its never ideal for peer to peer gaming. You dont need to drill holes, use pass through devices that are readily available and plug into the power outlets that your modem and console or pc is plugged into. These allow you to run wired connections withough having long cables or holes in walls. Ive been running them for D2 for years with zero issues. Unfortunately playing over wifi is likely causing your characters to teleport around in pvp (it will likely look normal to you on your end but not your opponents) or hits are not registering against you properly so its likely you are being reported often. Try the pass through option outside of that unfortunately pvp in D2 might just not be advisable.

Editado por Bieltan: 12/27/2021 9:25:41 PMI think its asinine that 1 person should be allowed to spoil the experience of up to 11 other players, therefore I am fine with that. You dont need fast signal, you just need a stable signal. You're probably paying your ISP a pretty penny, if they are delivering a sub-par service you should take them to task. EDIT: also for goodness sakes, get off wifi. Get some cable pins and a long ethernet cable, get hardwired.
