Ive played Destiny for years, grew up with Halo, and I must say... I'm about to find another game. This is my stress relief, my only game, my zen... And what this new developer has done is absolutely trash. PvE content is still good, but it's not where I live when I play after a 14 hour day. Bungie... Go delete yourselves for destroying the fluidity, fast paced, I can solo kill a trials squad by myself, (very strategically) don't HAVE to team shoot to accommodate success, and fire that guy. I don't appreciate spending hundreds of dollars on this now horrible pvp rendition of garbage. If I wanted to play COD, I'd have bought it. I absolutely hate you for this. FOR YEARS* on my typo 😉 Have fun all

2 RespuestasHC have become even more dominant making the game sweaty and unfun

Worse. I do survival. Much better, way more fun.
-
I’ve noticed people are getting more apathetic about PvP and just not engaging with the content at all.
-
Controllers need an aim assist nerf specially on snipers and Lorentz

I feel the current state is better than it was pre patch. At least you actually get gunfights adverse to just getting ability spammed back to back. You’ve played halo so I’m sure you realize teamshooting is a thing in every shooter especially in the more competitive game mods. Only way to combat that is by knowing when to engage and when to withdraw. Bungie pretty much said out the gate they didn’t plan on making destiny competitive. So it will always be unbalanced unfortunately considering there are so many weapon and ability aspects that overlap. It’s just too much work to expect or achieve any kind of balance without making set loadouts and removing some weapon archetypes from PvP. Also making some bigger maps WOULD BE GREAT, that would add to the balancing issue as well and make people have to use other things. Right now every map you can expect close to mid range fights and very few maps with long range. Which is filled by the same 10 to 15 guns.

This is probably the worst pvp has ever felt for me while playing D2. I’m a mostly pvp player and before the latest sandbox update I was getting used to quick swapping between a bow and Erianas on controller. Now that’s unusable not sure what else to use probably going back to shot guns but everything just feels off now.

2 RespuestasNobody should really care about "fast pace" they should care about winning. Even if it means waiting the time out. The handheld supernova nerf made little sense. It's a focused grenade. It should 1 tap. Getting rid of titan 1 hit melee was great. But it doesn't matter so much because now everybody just rubberbands all over the place. Can't shoot them while they are rubberbanding as well. Shotguns are pretty much the only thing you really face anymore because of how easy it is to rubberband melee. Which makes me wonder what the point of nerfing shotguns?

If it's no longer fun, find another game, go try out Apex legends you might really enjoy it but honestly the skill cap to do well is very high in that game. Good luck and have fun, no reason to stay by a game that isn't fun anymore.

9 RespuestasSince the ability cooldown changes every lobby is 90% hunters with stompees and shotguns. We all knew mobility exotics would take over after the ability netfs, but had no idea it would be this bad. Stompees need to be looked at asap as they are the biggest problem in pvp and will single handily kill the mode since everyone will move over and crutch on the free win OP exotic. Edit: for every hunter on this thread defending their crutch listen to the latest podcast Firing Range. This is a podcast that the Bungie PvP sandbox team guests stars on and listens to themselves. I’m just reiterating what the no crutch hunter community wants. Listen to Coolguy starting at 1:17:23 and it goes in for 3 minutes: https://youtu.be/9Ohx7gCdpuo

They need to rework matchmaking in a bad way. I play mostly Comp and according to Bungie if you win a couple then expect to get some bad teammates and harder opponents and lose a couple. Whatever changes they made literally broke it for some players. I can get up to Mythic 1 or 2 then I’ll lose a couple and I get locked into a non stop losing streak no matter what I do and doesn’t matter how incredibly good I play it’s a forced lass with maybe a win every 5-6 games which is immediately wiped out by more losses and it pushes me all the way at back down to Fabled. I can have 20+ kills and I’ll get teammates that get 1-6 kills. I’ll start winning a match and one or both my teammates get booted and it’s a loss. I’ll start winning and I’ll get booted. Then more bad teammates against absolute apes and loss. Then I’ll get booted again and Bungie gives me a timeout!!! Yes a Timeout bevy Bungie server suck so ya know somehow it’s my fault and try e idiots at Bungie punish me for their mistakes. I’ve talked to other players who are far, far below my skill level and they go 0- 5500 and hit Legend in one night because they said they just kept getting matched with really good teammates and go against weak opponents. Really frustrating!

1 RespuestaPvP is really under construction until subclass 2.0 rolls out completely. Game will always be unbalanced which is fine. But right now it might feel a little more unbalanced. I think it's fun though. Focus on gunplay is fun. Super cool down is really nice because not everyone pops their super at once in 6v6. "Deathballing" seems to be a trendy word, but it doesn't happen every game in my experience. List goes on and on but it's cool so far in my opinion.
-
Mostly it's just reverted back to a special heavy meta, were people just main specials.
-
Class ability cool down and the respawn timer are both to long and spoil the flow.
-
the same but without oneshot bs

15 RespuestasA lot of players are being exposed now for their lack of gun skills. The one downfall of this system is that some weapons are starting to rear their ugly heads and are now being crutched more than ever.

I feel like supers got hit a little too hard as far as how often you get one other than that I'm enjoying the cooldowns but I'd like to see some changes to some lesser used exotics. Peregrine greaves- get rid of the need to be air born. Should kill all base health gaurdians on the ground but make it for shutting down supers it should be in the air Skulfort- increased charged melee damage allows it to 1 shot 5 resilience gaurdians and under with shoulder charge. Starfire protocol - double any solar grenades. No longer tie it to fusion grenades Sealed ahamkaras grasps - grants poison damage (same as the warlocks gauntlets) on all melees for hunters in addition to auto reloading all your weapons.

2 RespuestasCrucible barely feels any different to me

It's still shite

1 RespuestaI feel like it’s a little slow, most of my pvp control games can’t even get to the score limit. It is almost always ended by the timer

Editado por Infamous067: 12/23/2021 11:48:45 PMIts better in the sense there are less supers, that actually makes me quite happy. Im bummed about all other changes bungie made, all these insane nerfs to ability cooldowns and removing a class ability to one shot is boring. Hand helds were nowhere near meta before the change, I used it to deal with shotgun apes or players going for free revives in trials but thats gone and bungie didn’t even bother to remove the self damage and extremely slow charge time. Titans look terrible without their shoulder charge one shot, its exactly like vanilla D2 and thats a huge no for me. At least titans have an exotic that allows them the one shot but warlocks don’t have any exotics that grant one shots. Hunters as usual only got a slap on the wrist with the removal of the projectile break. I don’t even know why that was a thing to begin with, that dumb dodge could literally break the tracking on top tree nova bomb and dawn blade! It still breaks aim assist which is still such a dumb feature. You don’t see warlocks or titans having an instant over shield when placing rifts or icarus dash breaking full aim assist on the one dodge they now have. As for weapons, we have entered a death ball meta once again where skill (we already had very little of that required) is basically out the window. All you gotta do now is literally stay near your team and team shoot everything to oblivion, hero moments are extremely rare again and special weapons are far more busted because of their lack of counter play due to low abilities. All in all, the game is suffering because of these changes and sure everyone is currently happy because its a fresh new meta and its the honeymoon phase but It wont take no more than 1-2 more months before everyone starts to hate these changes. Bungie played it smart by making witch queen arrive by the time everyone realizes how bad the changes are and the introduction to subclass 3.0 is maybe going to stall everything a but more.

Why downvote this post? People don’t like the pole results or what😂

Editado por Artic-25: 12/23/2021 8:45:07 AMAce need a AA nerf and remove of high caliber rounds replaced with richocet rounds

Better but still way too much cheese. This game will always be who can abuse cheese better unfortunately.
