Good call on this. Hope it stays. 👍

2 RespuestasHope this is sarcasm. It’s the worst thing in the game. The flawless pool is pathetically bad. My kd was like 8 in it but when you get to 5-6 games the matchmaking is pathetically un balanced. Three cards in a row I get two .6 teams at 6 wins against 1.5-1.8 players. Then it makes the team playlist feel like last season. No thanks. I’d even be ok with them adding freelance when the flawless and non flawless enter on Sunday at reset. Not all weekend though. It ruins the experience.

1 RespuestaIt needs to start the flawless pool right away. This weekend was brutal. I’ve got everything I’ve wanted. I’m done with anything trials. I’m -blam!- done man. -blam!- solo -blam!- teams.
-
Good call on this. Hope it stays. 👍
I’ve literally never had a losing streak like what I was just subjected to in freelance. Ever Iron Banners garbage match making is leaps and bounds better.
-
I love freelance! I went flawless 4 times this weekend!
-
It’s -blam!-
-
2 RespuestasAdd the Flawless Pool on Sunday and Monday and it should be a little better. Otherwise I like the practice.
-
Agreed. There are still flaws but it’s so much better to have this as an option. Need harsher penalties for people quitting/jumping off the map (but from what I saw, that was mostly in the 1-2 win range) and whatever kind of pre-sorting they do prior to splitting into teams of three needs work. But once you have 3 wins on the card, people seemed to stay. Sample size of 1 so take that for what it’s worth. Bottom line (and again, just one dude’s opinion): it feels more like if I play well for me, we’re more likely to win, and if I miss my shots, we’re more likely to lose. Yes, that sounds obvious, but normally trials feels like there are games where I can play with a blindfold on and win, followed by games where I could have unlimited heavy and still get crushed. Please keep this game mode as an option.
-
1 RespuestaHaven’t had much luck this weekend, every card seems to have sweaty 1st and 2nd win games. Also had three games in freelance that had clan mates on the opposite team, anyone know how or why that happens?
-
3 RespuestasI played a tonne of matches, and got all engrams from the rep level with Saint 14. And love it.... However... I feel like I have become an angry intolerable person to be around after playing trials all day long.
-
13 RespuestasIf freelance stays, team trials dies pretty much. I've thought about this for a bit and I'd like freelance to stay but I think they're better off going back to week 1, removing freelance, and just making sure that solos vs stacks doesn't happen more than 25% of the time. I think that'll be the best compromise for Trials in the end.
-
7 RespuestasFreelance is awful for trials. Only bad players like it.
-
15 RespuestasAverage players agree but the streamers complain about not having easy games all weekend, so Bungie will never make it permanent. I was watching Grenadier Jake this morning and the dude complained about it for an entire card lol; and it wasn't even active yet. He and GoldEagle were 5-0ing people almost every game and he was just whining away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
My experience was definitely mixed. Went flawless 3x on Friday and then couldn’t get passed 3-4 wins the rest of the weekend. Most of my teammates just played like they were brain dead After so many matches, I found myself turning extremely toxic, apologies to anyone that ran into me this weekend
-
I like it better than regular trials, but honestly it feels like some absolute sweatlord queue up in there on purpose just to ruin the game for everyone else...it has been brutal this weekend, I don't think I'll play trials again tbh
-
I agree
-
2 RespuestasOnly issue is they left the flawless pool, splitting the player base 4 ways.... solo/solo flawless/teams/teams flawless. It’s horrible matching the same team 4 times in a row in flawless pools... win or loss no one wants that
-
2 RespuestasI'm a solo player and really enjoy being able to experience Trials. Making it available on a rotating schedule like Iron Banner would make everyone happy. I play a lot of Elimination and Survival and I'm surprised how different Trials is. Freelance gives me a chance to get the feel for it before I embarrass myself by finding a fireteam to try for Flawless.
-
This has been the majority over the weekend.
-
Didn’t go flawless this time around, but it was still enjoyable for the most part.
-
yup enjoy this

1 RespuestaEditado por mac3i: 12/6/2021 6:04:53 AMI am a low skill player and I like trials freelance. I don’t expect to get flawless but playing for engrams.
-
1 RespuestaTrials was actually tolerable. Didn't go flawless but I played a ton of matches. Earned an Ascendant Shard and about 8 engrams. Usually I queue, face a 3-stack, and nope out after a game or two. Freelance is the ideal solo Trials experience.
-
Put freelance in every few weeks, benefits all players that way
-
7 RespuestasFreelance sucks. I have two options now play with constantly bad teammates. Or play team which is now sweatier than a camels -blam!- because noone but pros will go in.
-
It isn’t a good call unless they remove cross play
