Not sure why flux grenade will be getting the one hit pvp treatment here soon but a handheld supernova won’t be able to when it’s part of a special ability and you have to charge it.
-
Maybe because you can use hhs on any grenade option and can have a short cd? I have no idea why bungie do this, just make it that if you use hhs your grenade CD increase, it's like a fusion rifle with poor range.

Editado por anansispider: 11/23/2021 5:32:10 PMBecause Handheld Supernova isn't a Hunter ability (Not even advocating for HHSN to OHKO)
-
They still don't like Warlocks. We will get a HHSN back in oh, 2 years.
-
Why are some melees one hit kills and some not? Bungie makes no sense and never will. Just use a Hunter with stasis, HC and shotgun and you'll be ok.
-
Hunters are the only class that needs OHK abilities. Even some that self recharge on crit.
-
23 RespuestasBecause Flux won't track anymore. Think of trying to stick a plasma nade in halo, except you can only throw one every 3 minutes so if you miss, you're -blam!- because they'll have shot you up a bit during your grenade animation
-
Handheld. Supernova. Can't OHK but some random sparky gooball can... They should rename that grenade to match its power. Handcharged Disapointment
-
1 RespuestaIt will take 3 minutes That’s like 2 rounds in trials, it also doesn’t track so trust me you’ll be fine.
-
no real reason, bungie just likes to -blam!- with the game to keep the community divided, discussing meaningless stuff so they have more time to scam the whales
-
a grenade that has a max cooldown of over two minutes, moves super fast, and has no more tracking. i’m having a hard time seeing how that’s going to be game breaking. my thoughts are that it’s prolly something akin to the plasma grenade from halo, or an ashen wake fusion nade.

6 RespuestasEditado por IIRodeoClownII: 11/21/2021 12:00:35 PMBecause whiney -blam!- hunters are a bunch of cry babies and bungie likes to please them
-
1 RespuestaBungie dev are hunter main confirmed!
-
Id rather start a match with 2 pulse grenades than a flux. Even with the change.
-
Editado por Dante: 11/21/2021 3:13:09 PMdo u want 3 min cd not tracking grenade too?lol
-
One if infinitely easier to hit than the other, you have to actively try to miss HHSN. Flux is having all its tracking taken away and being made like a Semtex from old cod games. HHSN is also getting changes to be a pocket tractor cannon.
-
15 RespuestasBecause devs love their hunter main player base and would rather piss off a couple warlocks to keep them
-
Because this game has Always been Hunter Simulator…

Editado por Griever: 11/21/2021 7:00:06 AMWhat they're probably doing is preparing for the Void rework and you'll have to build it like Shatterdive. If not, well we don't know how strong the knock back is so it could do what Shiver Strike did before the Behemoth nerfs. Also, base recharge is going to be 3 minutes. If you seriously built Arcstrider (a melee class) for the single grenade, and if you're doing a grenade build, you're better off with either Shinobu or Ahamkara on Gunslinger, you're either a troll or you have no idea what you're doing. No one in their right mind is going to intentionally play a class and not try to play it the way it's supposed to.

5 Respuestasbc handheld supernova is a shotgun blast instant kill while flux nade without tracking is like playing darts with a moving board. Also HHSN can be on a lower CD since you can choose which nade type youll have basekit while flux will always be 182 second CD at 3 discipline.
-
1 RespuestaIts gonna have magnetisms removed and a very punishing cooldown. Which is pretty balanced
-
It will probably be on a super short cooldown if you use axion darts, or something. Plus its going to boop, so it might still one shot.
-
cuz hhsn is easy to use , and if the knockback effect is the same of the melee you can still oneshot
-
Because Destiny 1. And git gud
-
2 RespuestasBecause it has a nearly two minute cooldown, calm down.
-
3 RespuestasFlux requires a precision stick to kill 1 guardian, even with close range splash damage it's still only killing 1 guardian (assuming all full health to start). Handheld can take out multiple full health guardians so effectively that anything less than 2 kills is considered a wasted nade and 3 kills is an average. The disparity is beyond obvious.
-
2 RespuestasSupernova is still gonna be a 96 second base cooldown while flux takes 3 minutes.
