I mean. They obviously have limited resources. Where would you rather they devote them?

New maps because there is always 100% guarantee a new story regardless.

New pve content. They can’t figure out pvp

2 RespuestasNone of the above. I think Bungie's got the right balance right now for PVE. 1. Bungie is just LOST right now where PVP is concerned. New maps won't help what is ailing Crucible and Trials. 2. New maps for Gambit are kind of waste of Resources. The current players are content with what we have....and new maps won't make the rest of the player base like Gambit any more. Gambit needs more loot more than it needs new maps. 3. Strikes are an inefficient use of resources and (imo) calls for new strikes are really about Destiny 1 nostalgia. Because much of D1's replayability was about grinding strikes. But Destiny 2 is different there is a lot more to do, and the Seasonal Activity, Lost Sectors, etc....now fill the role that Strikes used to. IOW, New strikes have little impact on the day to day experience. They are "new-and-exciting" for a week or two....then they just fall into the back ground and just become part of the BLUR that is the strike playlist. 4. I think what Bungie is doing now is workign REALLY well for seasonal story telling. I'd rather see those limited resources go towards making new activities and new LOOT items and fixing game systems that no longer work well....than into more cutscenes Right now they've found an effective, low cost way to keep the story moving during the seasons....and they need to lean into that. Not throw it out and start over.

1 RespuestaWell if it’s just new story with already existing locations, I’d definitely choose new maps since they are replayable. Like if there was a vote for a season to have a seasonal activity and story play out, or get few new maps for core activities, at least for one season I think I’d pick the maps. But if we’re talking new story like ShadowKeep, Forsaken, Beyond Light, Witch Queen that comes with a whole new location to play around in, I’m going to go with story. As much as I want new maps, even they will get old after a few times in the rotation, if I even like them. But I kind of enjoy the story and lore of Destiny, and exploring new locations. It feels like it expands the universe, and furthers the narrative. Keeps the universe feeling like a living thing.

Rather Bungie gave up as they clearly can’t do either.

1 RespuestaEditado por Joulevette12: 10/22/2021 5:43:44 PMMaps but more then that what they need to be talking about is the weapon crafting system I don't really care about story or glave if I can make gd rolls without having to rely on Total RNG that's a system I wanna know more about hopefully Bungie don't plan to make a new currency and put it behind a paywall like transmog 😒

2 RespuestasHow about new story on new maps
-
The should use their resources to gain more resources if they aren’t able to produce content for their own game. Bungie isn’t some up and coming Indy dev. They are a full blown AAA dev with millions and millions coming in every month. There should never EVER be a situation where a AAA game dev needs to think “hmm this year do we give them another pvp map or some story?” If they aren’t capable of doing it it’s because they are making that choice.

New maps. Sunset gambit

4 RespuestasNUDE MAPS

As someone said you can only play the story missions once. They should’ve brought back the daily or weekly story missions. For each active expansion. Would help to make it seem like it’s not wasted content. But yea, the pvp crowd has been getting shafted. So they deserve some maps.
-
Maps. Story is one and done.
-
New story can be played once on each character, not much use after that. Crucible maps? They are played way more times than anyone can count. Bungie needs to not only release new maps but also release old D2 vanilla maps. There was 2 trials of the nine maps that I honestly miss including the calus one too. Those maps were huge!
-
1 RespuestaMaps obviously. They are replayable. Story is one and done. Easy.
-
How about the maps they took off us?!?
-
"story" in this game is a wall of text, with occasional voice acting and 1-2 cutscenes per expansion. i think it's safe to say there's no resources being put into story telling
-
New maps 💯 %

I said this in a response and I think it’s worth reiterating here again. I really wouldn’t care if there wasn’t a new story. I want new maps that are tied to crucible and gambit , hell even strikes. Stuff we have to play for all their run around objective quests. We HARDLY EVER use their story mission maps. Outside of a strike sometimes , but then that feels lame , making the story mission a strike, seems kinda double dipping and boring. I think their problem is the story is something the spend way too much time on.

1 RespuestaNew maps now New story later.
-
2 RespuestasCrucible and Gambit have been pretty stagnant the last 2 years. Problem with story content is that there’s not really much reason to replay it.
-
1 RespuestaSometimes I wish the resources and time that gets put into making the seasonal content that comes alongside the expansions was used to make new gambit and pvp maps instead,Something like 3 or 4 of each(or more if possible) and maybe remove 2 older maps for a time so it would give us the new ones more so it would feel a bit more refreshing.
-
Let's see..... maybe the Team that Does Story Content keep doing that, as they are doing Fine. And Crucible can use a bit more love. Mostly just CA size maps IMHO.
