First let me excuse myself, I don’t speak english that good.
All destiny players, pvp and pve want a better pvp, more fair between all players. The new super is really op and not that fair. Destiny 1 was a way better balanced for this. And the stase is so Op and better than other supers, the shatterdave is almost a super you can have every round when well executed and no devs think about balance in pvp and now the pvp is really bad… Jotun is a auto aim one shot weapon? Is this normal…
Pistolero don’t have extra heal when carried so it is one of the worst super for osiris. It should be buff a bit or put the same health for every super in the game.
We want someone that observe pvp weapons and just balance it and nerf or buff weapons lr type of weapons and create meta like D1.
To keep your destiny pvp players and some pve players who like pvp you should really be aware about that and make the pvp greater
We want a balanced pvp because we love destiny.
Thanks

4 Respuestasif you cant dodge Jotunn you are bad! This guns isnt op like people think, did you try it?

The reason D1 pvp felt good was because it had lots of variety and modes, there were larger maps, and abilities and perks weaker. There was big team modes, 3v3 modes, multi team, clash, rift, control, elimination and more. There was a good mix of map sizes ranging from small to massive.

I'd argue that d2 has a better pvp. People wanna whine about how handcannons are everywhere, but at least they arent 1 crit and 2 bodying players anymore. Or auto rifles have a slower average ttk than every other weapon type for absolutely no reason. Or only high impact fusions being good. Or mid impact snipers doing every job including guaranteed shutdown. Or how every gun was pretty much rangefinder and counterbalance if it could roll it. Etc. Destiny 2's is definitely not perfect, but d1's pvp was an absolute mess.

D1 pvp was balanced? Was I playing a different game, this is way more balanced

1 RespuestaAhhhh. Hate that shatterdave. That dude is a jerk..

Was D1 balance better? At this point its actually quite the same. If anything, D1 balance was far worse. Sticky nades would one shot, all other grenades dealt more damage, hunters had infinite dodge without cooldowns, titans had shoulder charge with no cooldowns, hand cannons actually had way more range than D2 hand cannons and some abilities were straight up busted like the viking funeral build for example. Idk about you but that sounds worse than what we currently have, I could literally start with 75 bullets on queenbreakers which means I could use it as a primary without ever having to pick up any ammo from any player. I understand the nostalgia and how much simpler destiny 1 really was but when it gets to balance, that game was far from it. D2 abilities have cooldowns and abilities are not that strong which promotes more gunplay. Unfortunately D2 is plagued by special weapons just like D1 but we cant go back to double primary or pvp will truly die.

Thanks[/quote] I’m sorry but you’re blinded by nostalgia. D1 PvP was a mess. We never had a balanced or stable meta. In terms of balance, D2 PvP far surpasses it. Look at it now, aside from a few outliers, the Crucible is actually balanced in terms of weapons being strong or weak and you don’t feel at a disadvantage when using a gun. In D1, you NEEDED certain guns to actually compete otherwise you were at a disadvantage. Thorn/Last Word/Red Death meta, Red Death/Nirwen’s Mercy meta, Clever Dragon/HC meta, Special ammo meta; those were just bad to play because they were one-dimensional

Rise of Irons meta was trash what do you mean?

4 RespuestasIt wasn’t good in d1

8 Respuestasthis type of game will never be balanced, atm we have a very solid primary balance ,

D2 has much more recoil for controllers. Bad matchmaking has really destroyed my interest in pvp. Those are my top two complaints.

Lol it was never good in D1 that's the sad thing

14 RespuestasThis games pvp will never be balanced, as long as pvp and pve are forced to share the same sandbox. Because balancing it will destroy pve. That’s what happened when Bungie went to fixed weapon rolls, dual primaries and long ability cooldowns in vanilla Destiny 2. It was so unpopular that it nearly destroyed the game.

2 RespuestasPvp was good in d1? One shot fusion grenades? Shade step back to back? No class abilities. Hawk moon 1 tapping. Thorn 2 tapping. Ice breaker. Bro I could go on lol

Never gonna happen with this Bungie team. D1 pvp was fun D2 pvp is boring filled hand holders, revanant hunters, and lack of content.

2 RespuestasEditado por OurWildebeest: 10/15/2021 8:28:42 PMFirst let me say, your English is better than I am in any language except English. Good job writing this in a second language. But as far as D1 being better ... I am a time traveler of sorts. I played tons of D1 from when it came out until D2 came out. I played some D2 Y1, then burned out and stopped playing until this year. I am getting back into it. This includes reading this board. For me, what people were saying here about D1 is like yesterday. And, the board was actually more negative then. It is funny to me to see people now presenting D1 like a golden age. During that golden age, this board was nothing but complaints, including PvP. Some of the same complaints as today. Shotgun sliders, quick-scope snipers, unbalanced supers, unbalanced grenades, matchmaking, lack of matchmaking, etc. The only way to really balance PvP would be a Halo approach where everybody has identical abilities and weapons/grenades, and even then, people will complain about matchmaking, connection speed, maps, gametypes, etc. JMO.

2 RespuestasD2 is never going to be as good as d1. The community has changed. People nowadays accept weapons like jotunn because “you can just dodge it”. Braindeads.
