Edit: This discussion is kind of played out for me.
Some people reset to carry others.
Some reset to farm kills.
That’s the gist. Flawless pool starts on Sunday this week so happy hunting everyone.
Edit: someone here made a great point saying they reset after a loss.. I actually do that all the time because I rarely ever get passed one or two wins. Lose-reset, lose-reset, etc etc etc
Another edit: first match today as a solo and one of teammates quit. Another “flawless” card about to be reset. Got one win this time lol

21 RespuestasI have a solution. If you go flawless once. You're in the flawless pool for the rest of the season. That's your choice. You can have easy wins. Or you can go to the light house. You don't get to have both. "But I want to have both!" Yeah well the world is full of people who don't get what they want. I've heard it from you guys a hundred times, "the light house is exclusively for the best of the best." Well. If you can't run with the wolves stay out of the woods. I am 100% okay not going to the lighthouse. I'd rather grind flawed for loot. You want to go to the light house you pay admission in having to play against the other sweats for that premium loot and perks for the rest of the season. Get easy wins in flawed trials, or go flawless and in your own words "git gud". I am entirely fine with that being a choice that players have to make.

22 RespuestasGood. They should all be doing it. Stupid decision to punish people for being skilled at the game.

1) Casuals don’t want to get stomped by flawless players resetting their cards 1a) Flawless players don’t want to be stomped in a pool by other flawless players. Oh the hypocrisy. Here are both sides arguing basically saying the same thing.

32 RespuestasThe change they did this week to the flawless pool shows that they cater to streamers and youtubers
-
FYI flawless matchmaking doesn’t take effect until Sunday

Editado por waverider666: 9/25/2021 7:35:44 PM😂😂😂 I played 6 matches reset card 6 times..

what need to happen is that u need to go flawless to be able to reset the card OR play out the whole card,or maybe allow max resets on a card? reset just to farm kd.win streak and so on is just toxic and stupid.
-
1 Respuestawatch the numbers plummet to last seasons numbers.
-
4 RespuestasAll they have to do is lock reset unless you have a loss on your card, no reason to reset a card unless you can't go flawless with said card.
-
3 Respuestas16k out of 750k doesn’t seem like a meaningful number.
-
4 RespuestasEr, ok - insert PvE main preamble here. Dood, a statistic says 16,000 cards were reset, sure but that doesn't give any data about why they were. You've made a MASSIVE assumption about "Sweats not wanting to play in the flawless pool because they're scared" There were MANY reasons to avoid a flawless card last week - don't assume to know all of them or worse, that they're all the same mate. :)

Probably people on mercy cards. If I lose my mercy before game 4-5 I automatically reset even if I’m still considered “flawless.”

10 RespuestasEditado por Fog: 9/24/2021 6:59:24 PM16,000 out of 2.7 million cards. That’s less than 0.6%, if you went on the forums last weekend, with the amount of complaining going on you would think 1.3 million cards were reset. I bet you were one of the people saying “all of the sweats are resetting for easy k/d farming”. As a side note too, you have no idea what the circumstances were for the reset. It might have been so that they could play with their low k/d friends without them getting destroyed. Edit: 36% of people went flawless. Im sorry to say it but you didn’t match those 0.6% every card to keep you from the lighthouse you’re just below average. You had 64% of the match making pool, granted not all at once. That’s 1,728,000 cards. Those that reset are 0.9% of that. So 1 every 100 matches. You would run into one of these supposed “sweats” once every 14 cards if you were getting to 7 wins every card (without loses)
numbers should be accurate, apologies if they aren’t

Yes, I’m tired of people complaining about trials not giving them free wins
1 RespuestaI also reset at 6 wins this due to 2 issue. 1: Trials engrams go up by rank and reputation. How to get reputation quick is to win rounds. How to get ranks quick is to win games. Playing in the non flawless pool I get about a 90% win rate. Playing in the flawless pool prbly about 45% so dubble my time to get the same thing srry that’s just a kick in my nuts for putting effort into getting good at something. 2: my clan is a lovely community who play destiny for fun. But 60% of them are not good enough to go flawless on there own. Some of them mange to do it on the second week after 3/4 hours of trying. If I and a friend play with them. And reset at 6 they get there flawless while we play game 1 again. This within 45 min. Just because he knows better players he should not be able to play with us because we go flawless on Friday. So we help him get flawless and the other 60% of my clan. You might disagree with what I’m doing well I mean I disagree with how trials is setup after week 1. For me week week 1 was the best option. Wish you the best.

1 RespuestaSome people would just throw a match to stay in the pool and farm at 7 wins indefinitely.
-
Editado por Demon_XXVII: 9/25/2021 4:48:52 AMHere’s a solution Resetting your card on 5(mercy)/6 wins (more than 2 times in ANY Trials weekend) without playing that 7th match Will result in your Guardian being frozen/deleted! 😆 Semi serious

Maybe the flawless system itself is flawed. Definitely not easy to figure out how to keep the playlist healthy and interesting.
-
I just want my loot. If Flawless pool would give better rewards i will go there

They should move the F. Pool mm 1 day ahead and give others another day a chance to go flawless. And find a way to reduce resetting cards, a way to discourage ppl can who gone flawless but won't be a man and get back into their appropriate group where they belong. And get out of the little kiddie pool. That just look disgusting. Lol
-
7 RespuestasI wish they would just remove trials altogether and focus on other things. It is the most toxic, divisive and revolting presence in Destiny.
-
4 RespuestasEasy fix, make it that you can't reset the card after you get to 5-0. There you have it.

Editado por EXALTEDoreo: 9/25/2021 12:00:22 AMPeople resetting are mad lame.

42 Respuestas
This blows my mind. 16,000 sweats resetting their cards before they go flawless because they are SCARED to play in the flawless pool?? Man, I’m probably a bit older than most people who play this game - the young generation that plays now lacks a few vertebrae in their spines! Why would you purposely fail in order to not compete then go around calling yourself good? I’ve got news for all 16,000 of you - if you reset your cards out of fear of competition you are NOT good.
16,000 people refusing to play in a pool that turns trials from fun to a chore imagine that. Why would you purposefully avoid the flawless pool? To play with non flawless friends. Avoid the aggravation of a constant win or bust setting. Shorter Match Making times in the non flawless pool. These are just some of the reasons. At the end of the day I'm expecting the same old story from both sides. Same groups in any game with PvP......one side telling the other to learn and improve......the other saying they should be fighting their own skill levels. Excuses on both sides of the fence...........and the sad harsh truth is no matter what Bungie does. Neither side will be happy. I've been against SBMM because of how awful it is at matching people. But at this point. Just put in SBMM and call it a day. It can't get any worse than what this garbage is.
