It's literally better and more impactful than pre nerf handheld supernova. Only reason it doesn't get more attention, is the fact hunters have it.
I don't hate hunters. I just hate some of their loadout options they've have for far too long, being wormhusk, gemini jesters, and shatterdive. You could even make a argument for stomp-ees, but that does mean theirs a argument for transversives and dunemarchers too.
A ability that deals with supers, a ability that's setup is stupid easy, a ability that allows long range loadouts to not fear close range engagments. What isn't shaterdive capable of?

Granted we have plenty of good in us. Destiny wouldn't exist today without us, and bungie.

Let's be real it's Destiny 2. Everyone in the community calls the hunter over powered. Remember when people were calling for stasis hunter to be nerfed and then Bungie pulled out them receipts that showed that stasis titans had huge win rate? Hunters are the punching bag of the forums so yeah the majority here does say that this needs to get nerfed. I haven't seen too much of shatterdive spam but if it's op let it be nerfed

I mean I dont always trust the reasoning behind why bungie nerfs things. They nerfed penumbral blast multiple times and thier reasoning for the nerf was that it was hurting people's feelings.

Let me guess. Your answer to everything is, "get good". To that i say, While outplaying something is always possible, having a option will never solely justify certain loadout options like shatterdive to be fine as is. If so, the 1 shot abilities you used as prime examples in your other commemt, would still be untouched, but have all been nerfed at various points in time. Regardless of skill or a players loadout, that alone will never be enough for some loadout options like shatterdive to be ok as is.
