I have the weapon, I've used it in 6v6 and trials, it takes far less skill to use than many other weapons.
I'm messing around with other auto rifles I like and the second I switch to Vex, I stop dying.
The hand canon meta is extremely dull so I'm happy for this change but 6 months is a long time and Bungie aren't talking about the drop rate issue as people are 50 clears in with no drop.
Bottom line, it needs a couple of small tweaks imho but its mostly alright. I can see how its annoying af to play against when you don't have it as an option to even counter it.

Appreciate your honesty

I speak from experience as someone who has not had the option of using it. I got mine last season but I play PvP for my dad to since he really isn't into it and yeah, it sucks knowing I can't just swap to it. Especially in trials where it shines most. 3v3 means less chaos and less chance of being team shot by 4 people or at the very least, less chance of being team shot without backup.

You are convincing your self its a crutch lol.
-
If I thought it was a crutch, I'd say so. All I said is it can definitely take some tweaks. It won't kill the gun for you, don't worry.

Honestly their silence on the drop rate issue has been pissing me off. It's literally got to be in the 2-3% range, if that even
-
Yeah, my dad still doesn't have it but one of my clan members has dropped 4... Dupes shouldn't even be a thing cause it can make those who get it feel bad too.
Honestly their silence on the drop rate issue has been pissing me off. It's literally got to be in the 2-3% range, if that even
I would say thats right. I’ve done 26 Atheon clears and seen it dropped 3 times. If everyone had not done it before then it would be 156 chances. So that’s 1.92% drop rate.

So a bit worse than 2% then. I wonder what percentage of the player base has it so far
So a bit worse than 2% then. I wonder what percentage of the player base has it so far
Paul Tassi who does articles for Forbes put this out on September 5th: “According to Charlemagne tracking, only 0.6% of all Destiny 2 players have Mythoclast. Adjusted for more active players (ones with at least one seal), it’s just 1.6%.” So let’s say it’s between 1.5-2.0%

Editado por AxelOfTheLight: 9/14/2021 5:54:45 PMThat's absolutely to damn low for how long the raid has been out. Giving 2% roughly of players a leg up on 98% of the community SHOULD constitute a problem, especially when it attributed for more than 5,000,000 kills in trials. That should tell you which players have it too, the upper echelon

Probably stealth nerfed the drop rate after to keep people from crying that’s there’s too many vex’s running around in (PVP) and just needs to be removed because too many people die to it faster then they’d like in (PvP). Separate the sandboxes or ban it in pvp, then bump the drop rate up with scaling chances for the drop and everyone who runs it 50+ times will have up to a 100% drop rate eventually. This will make all the problems go away for the constant nerfs that come at guns because they kill people in pvp too much, at the same time addressing the endless drip feed and hamster wheel you all ride on. But you all should know by now that this is intentional and just keeps you playing, it does right? Gotta run vault again this week right? Need that gun even though you’ve run the same content 50+ times that never, ever changes per run.

It's crazy that so few people have it but it had the most kills in trials this weekend, and I mean by A LOT. It was something like over 6 million kills and I think the 2nd most kills was the messenger with less than 4 million lol.
