Trials..
So I’ve been a solo player for most of D2, never got trials weapons or armor due to that, so in that case I’m glad we have a matchmaking option.
I spent all day yesterday , ALL DAY… in trials.. here’s what I’ve founnd
Trials is still stacked flawless titled teams destroying people who que solo.
If you have a flawless title, you should only be playing with other players who have the same. You wouldn’t send a bunch of regular folks into the NFL and say… well, good luck. It just doesn’t end well.
If you have a 3 man team, you should ONLY match against 3 man teams.. period. This is the only way I can see matchmaking working. I’m happy that this will be in an upcoming lab.
I also reported people who were obviously carrying people. The paid carries ruin the game. As solo players we run into carries non stop (I still get messages from people telling me to “donate money” so I can get flawless.. IMO this ruins pvp. There are so many people doing this that it becomes just them vs each other. It’s creating a closed system that never lets solo players get to flawless. I’m not saying that you can’t sneak by and randomly match up with some other great players to get flawless.. but it’s not often going to happen for the majority of players.
(Why can’t we see when reported players get banned? That would be satisfying, and let the community know that reporting actually does something.)
It’s a great start opening this up for solo players, thank you to all the teams at Bungie.
I’m sure I have more insight as a solo player, but I’m done for now.

20 RespuestasThe solo Q experience is meant to be a complete dive roll. 3 stacking is loading the dice. That’s how it is and how it will be. Players with a title should not only match others with that title that is an awful idea. It splits the playerbase and outright punished them for being good at the game. I’m not one of them either Reporting people for carrying? Why? Are you just assuming they are paying for it? There is nothing wrong with playing with a friend who sucks lol

1 RespuestaFor me its matchmaking that makes no real difference. Everyone knows for the solo player it's alot harder. So when a solo player goes in its either flawless stack teams, carries or just stack teams in general with about 90% Hunters and there mobility advantage also then putting there mobility to 100. Then the game wants you to get 50 points for pinical, are you kidding? A solo player would be there for a while, I for one won't work that for a rng pinical.

Editado por Thr3eD (Sunset): 9/13/2021 5:58:16 PMAgree with this 1000%… and for all the people that are like get good… first off you’re not reading what they said they said a solo player should not be put into a queue with a premade 3 stack.. it creates a horrible game experience and while we are on that how is it when people quit after one round not only does your team get super punished but there is not repercussion for that player… no loss of xp… no temp ban to queue for the next match for leaving etc… like that is insane by itself.. all it promotes is well my teammate left so guess I’ll either just kill myself or quit too.. how is that ok? Now we’ll hear the toxic bs people say get better and they won’t quit… seriously you are part of the problem not the solution.. I don’t want a free flawless has nothing to do with flawless has to do with gameplay and the experience..

That's like you throwing somebody who just started basketball into a college game you can't throw somebody from amateur to competitive and expect them to be successful

6 RespuestasSolo player here. Yeah I might be getting farmed but at least I’m gaining experience and above all else awesome loot. Preparing for the next iron banner. Honestly 6 vs 6 seems a lot easier now. Trials teaches me to constantly watch my radar and try to play strategically.👍

8 RespuestasCarries do not negatively affect anything. As a matter of fact, if you’re matched against a team doing a carry, the other team has a handicap. If you can’t beat a player doing a carry, you’ve got no chance when they run stacked. . .which is what they’ll do if carries are somehow banned. Learn to think.

2 RespuestasThey aren’t going to act on carries. Recoveries we’re against terms of service and making skill creep even worse. But someone being carried still has to play their character. So a paid carry can’t guarentee flawless, unless they cheat. And hopefully they’ll get dinged for the cheating.

You aren't serious are you? Carrying people is part of the flawless seal and gilding. Reports like yours waste time from identifying real cheaters. Also, if you want NBA rewards, you have to play in the NBA.

Paid carries are a problem but hold on with those reports, to get the trials title, one of the challenges requires players to carry others to flawless. You cant report someone trying to do a carry when its an actual requirement for a title lol.

3 RespuestasBungie know all of this already - yet they chose to make their PvP regulars lives easier on their way to the tower… First they git rid of SBMM - so if you don’t play 60 hours a week you get wrecked… They got rid of recovs…they got rid of cheaters…all so they can go back to stomping newbs and casuals while they try to get loot… All it does is create a toxic experience for anyone on the wrong side of this… It’s really awful that the developers chose to treat their community like this…

2 RespuestasFreelance isn’t the answer my friend, It will divide the player population and make both mode sweaty af, everyone will be getting stomped. All we need is a bit of fireteam match making in the playlist we currently have where a solo player is matched against a team that is worse than the solo player so the solo player has a chance. I hope the freelance lab is a dumpster fire because if it succeeds the trials playlist will just go down hill again :(

This was done by design by Bungie. They knew stacks and top-end players would have fun destroying solo players which would, in turn, get a positive reseption. When freelance comes out trials will go right back to being mocked and ridiculed because now stacks can't farm solo players.

Have fun, earn loot, learn tactics but don't get it twisted, trials isn't for the solo newbies to have a safe and easy environment to earn free loot and get free flawless cards- it's a pvp game mode for teams to try and put their skills to the test. Putting flawless or guilded flawless in their own pool defeats the changes thay were just made. It prevents clan members or friends from running trials cards together. If you're actually getting messages from people asking for flawless 'donations' then sure report away, I hate paid carries (you are also under obligations to pay or respond to those turd buckets) -but- if you're just reporting people who have a really good player on the enemy team that is better than you and their own team then you don't understand trials very well. Trials is about using fireteam skills and tactics while putting it to the test against any/all other teams. You're going into that game mode and choosing to not verbally communicate with your team. Which is fine if that's what you want to do. What trials isn't about is giving solo players an easy flawless card and easy flawless loot. All that being said I hope you enjoy playing Trials and continue to play.

7 RespuestasYou reported people for carrying. Without any evidence they were selling carries.. That's a bit stupid. Plus we have a whole think about truimphs requiring us to carry people. What you gonna report them too because everyone in your book is charging everyone when carrying them... 😂
