It's not match making.
You guys just ignore objectives and do dumb stuff like flip spawns.

Actually in my experience very few teams defends sides any more. They just mob up and steam roll around the map looking to get the lockout. I got dumped into a match in progress and literally spawned in right on top of the other team spawn. Right in the sights of four players.

Actually that is the most efficient way to play IB Control. If you can get even 4 out of the six players to commit to playing that way, it’s uncounterable except by playing in the same way. It’s why the experience is so bad, and why they had to create a Freelance list. But FL doesn’t solve the problem because most good players know to play that way anyway. It’s a mess.

Exactly Kellygreen! And that happens often. Draycole is yet another D2 elitest that assumes everyone is stupid and no one besides him, plays the game correctly. His ridiculous comments assumes that just about every team I got matched with today were all idiots. It couldn’t possibly be D2’s unbalanced matchmaking, it has to be that we’re stupid right? But which is more likely since since everyone in the lobby on both teams are randomly selected? Either way, his comment STILL doesn’t dispel my original statement. Say for argument’s sake my team were actually all idiots like he assumed, that just means D2 servers are purposely matching me with a bunch of idiots on a regular basis only to constantly get steamrolled. Hence, MATCHMAKING SUCKS!!!!

your w/l ration in IB is around 1:1 despite you being below 1 kd. Id say the matchmaking aint that bad.

Matchmaking can't match people based off of intelligence. And no, it's not necessarily them being dumb. Take a look at the posts here complaining about Iron banner. Dozens of comments with up votes saying how they don't care if they win or lose, how they actively ignore objectives because they can't do objectives and bounties at the same time, how they complete bounties and immediate stop trying or afk until the match is over. It ain't matchmaking. They're either dumb or just selfish. Yeah I'm sure there's occasionally a match that's wildly imbalanced. But it's not often

So you lump all posts and all people’s play style together and come to a biased conclusion? You don’t know that I ignore objectives or that I’m not skilled (and KD is not a true reflection of a player’s skill and/or intelligence). Not to mention, it’s kind of hard to capture objectives when you can’t take two steps out of your spawn before getting bumrushed by the entire opposing team.
