If I have Radiant Dance Machines on now it is because I want to spam reload with a weapon that empties its magazine more than once in 6 seconds because otherwise I get absolutely no benefit from multiple dodges. I don't get an extra 4 slow stacks, I can't get an extra grenade with bomber.
I can get another melee charge, but what melee build on hunter doesn't already have one or more specific exotics that sort of need to be equipped for viability? Any gunslinger throwing knife build would like Ophidian spathe. Any Arc Strider build wants Liar's or Assassin's Cowl for damage and/or survive. Nightstalker melee builds don't exist unless you are abusing Khepri's which is an exotic or you do better for ability spamming on bottom tree with Omnioculus. 5 gamblers dodges for an exotic slot is a waste.
Going back to unloading weapons' reserves quickly, sealed ahamkara's grasps are in the game which give the ability to reload 2 times consecutively without being in the range the dance machines require with a shoot-thrown melee-shoot-marksman's-shoot (potentially shoot again because sealed grasps reproced because you are on middle Gunslinger or Nightstalker).
By not allowing any benefit from additional dodges other than the actual function of the dodge, there is never a reason to give up your exotic slot for it, and Radiant Dance Machines become even more useless than Sealed Ahamkara's Grasps.
How then do we make these boots powerful without being too powerful? Perhaps allow three dodges of the multi-dodge to proc mods and use stasis fragments instead of all six. This change still incentivizes spamming the dodge (which seems to be the intended use of the exotic) but does not give too much of a reward for the trouble. With this, perhaps even increase dodge cooldown while RDM's are equipped by 5-7 seconds.

2 Respuestas2x dynamo and 2x distribution grant 5% super per dodge i think, maybe a little more. I would spam gemini through walls sometimes in trials but if these new boots allowed just 2 dodges to activate perks then thats already busted. If hunters needed a clear sight to the enemy and also be within 10m for dodge perks to proc then sure, 2 or even 3 dodges like you said would be ok.
