When I was looking through these last two TWABs, I noticed that there were more Warlock nerfs than either of the other classes, so I decided to count each of the buffs and nerfs to each class and find the ratio of buffs to nerfs. Now before any of you go complaining about my choices being bias, I had a system for classifying them, what bungie says, goes. So if son thing get reduced damage, defense, etc, then it is a nerf. But if it gets increased damage, defence, etc, then it is a buff. Anyway, the final count is as follows.
Titan:
17 Buffs, 1 Nerf
Hunter:
17 Buffs, 2 Nerfs
Warlocks:
22 Buffs, 15 Nerfs
And the ratios come out to be:
Titan: 17 to 1
Hunter: 8.5 to 1
Warlocks: 1.46 to 1
In conclusion, we Warlock mains aren't crazy when we say Warlocks get the most nerfs, the numbers back us up.

And still GM posts will end with ", no hunters" because they're useless

5 RespuestasHunters have still taken the most nerfs of any class. But ill agree warlocks got the short end of the stick on this one
-
And the warlock buffs are awful too. 1 second longer arc buddies. Game breaking /sarcasm Veritys bow gets a grenade damage buff, but now requires your weapon to match your subclass, in a game where match game and champion mods exist. Even our buffs are half nerfs half of the time.

2 RespuestasI’m honestly convinced that no one at Bungie plays a warlock. In pvp we were left with top tree dawn and chaos reach as the most viable opinions to use. I will say in the right hands top tree dawn is the best and chaos reach can be abused. Bungie went ahead and nerfed them which is fine but we’re left with no replacement class to take their places. The other subclasses are so bad on warlock people will still only use top tree dawn and chaos reach after these nerfs. By the way they have shadow nerfed top tree dawn two or three time since the reworked the class so that says something. I also think it’s ridiculous whenever something is broken of warlock they will fix it in like 2 weeks but the other classes are free to destroy for like 6 months. By the way I thought it was hilarious that went ahead and nerfed stasis warlock AGAIN. So Uncalled for because stasis lock was already dog shit so they felt like -blam!-ing it up again for no reason

Focusing on the quantity of adjustments, rather than the nature and extent of the adjustments. Sure, that's one way to advance your narrative. Meanwhile, the truth was always in front of you... The Eververse is Bungie's favorite class...

4 RespuestasStop crying, Bottom tree Sentinel is still the least used Subclass in the game.

Editado por DuBChiri2: 8/15/2021 7:22:37 AMOn titans there wasn't really a whole lot to nerf besides dunemarchers. You gonna tell me any subclass titans have in pve or pvp even comes close to the two "behemoths" warlocks have? Top tree dawnblade is the best pvp subclass in the game. Shadebinder is the single hardest stasis super to counter and has the strongest pve neutral game out of any subclass currently. Chaos reach is also an incredibly potent pvp subclass. Warlocks also had the highest number of super regen exotics (2 isn't much more than 1...but still). They literally had the most stuff to nerf this time. It's not some stupid bias nonsense like people always try to make it out to be. The reason titans didn't really get nerfed this time is because everything else they have, for the most part, is tame. No super spam every trials round. No moving so fast damage doesn't register. No cross map instakilling supers with tracking aoe projectiles.

3 Respuestas
In conclusion, we Warlock mains aren't crazy when we say Warlocks get the most nerfs, the numbers back us up.
This is a ridiculously disingenuous take. Warlocks got the most nerfs because of how dominant they are in all aspects of the game. Like, you're not going to nerf top tree Golden Gun so it's an even amount of nerfs. The Warlock Vitcim Circlejerk has gotta be the cringiest thing to happen in the community

4 RespuestasAs usual warlocks nerfed into the ground. 😂😂😂😂 fkn ridiculous
-
1 RespuestaThere is no clear answer as to whether or not Stasis on the other two classes will require two hits from their super to initiate a freeze on roaming supers. Sounds really one sided TBH.
-
5 RespuestasBungie hates warlocks. Really obvious at this point.
-
Oh no...you got more nerfs this time. Meanwhile hunter got more nerfs every other time.
-
2 RespuestasAnd yet warlocks are still the strongest pve class XD. Hence why the nerfs
-
Typical crutchlock

3 RespuestasI mean, they're the most used pve class, and the single best pvp class, so it was kinda deserved. You can't attempt to compare the other classes to a warlock either. If you have a team full of hunters, some things straight up dont work in raids. Same thing for titans. For example, you NEED a warlock with Lunas to be able to double slug taniks, without it, your slugs get damage dropoff. Through both my flawless and day 1 crypt, warlocks were the centerpiece of our strategies. We ran damage phases based on if our warlocks had well. It didnt matter if I, or any other non warlock had well. All of the nerfs and buffs were deserved, period.

Editado por IAGNRG: 8/14/2021 11:55:20 AMWarlocks get more nerfs because their gameplay is much more ability focused. When things stand out, in a good or bad way, they are tweaked.

2 RespuestasEditado por BoyarD: 8/13/2021 9:43:04 PMI guess nobody here knows how balancing works. Just because a certain class gets a certain number of changes doesn't mean is has to happen to all of the other classes. It is determined on effectiveness within the sandbox. *cough cough* TTDB But sure, go complain about your poor class getting "nerfed into the ground" when you don't even know how those changes will effect the game just yet.

Especially for controller snipers.

3 RespuestasShould also mention I was surprised there wasn’t more hunter nerfs, and the nerfs to Spectral were needed (even though that’s my go to in PvP 😕). I always expect a lot of hunter nerfs. Sorta thought there would be more to titans as well 🤷🏼♂️.

13 RespuestasEditado por michael: 8/13/2021 3:20:45 PMWarlocks are the best class so them receiving the most nerfs makes sense. If you have all 3 classes rated on a scale of 1-10 in terms of strength with warlocks at 10 and hunters and titans at 6, it is obvious that in order to balance things without buffing everything to warlock-level strength you need to bring warlocks down and hunters and titans up. It is not unbalanced at all, what would be unbalanced would be bringing down every class the same amount because then warlocks would still be the best.
-
3 RespuestasSo you’re saying warlocks were the most unbalanced and clearly OP classes before this upcoming update according to your numbers hence why the other classes need so many buffs and warlocks needed so many nerfs. Got it 👍🏻 P.S. Just kidding 😆✌🏻
