I'm sure this was said a dozen times already. EDIT: I get what you're trying to say though, the game should have more creative ways to deal with players in close range of a boss.

40 RespuestasWyverns is nothing but a bad enemy design that takes everything bad from enemies and puts them into one. It shields targets with its wings. It can go up in the air and shatter dive at you. It can one shot you if you're in its face. This is bs on grandmaster Glassway. Why did they think this would be a good idea to put in the game as a normal enemy and not an actual boss?

Boss stomp is "ok" but they need to tone down the physics. Also, every boss stomping is lazy design. Come up with other things.

You must have liked the Servitor when the forge was around that constantly teleported players. I remember getting teleported in one match 6 times in a roll that I was like WTH is this BS 😄

Boss stomp isnt an issue at all. You see it coming, you know its going to happen. Use the melee lunge mechanic to keep from being pushed. Its not hard

You are wasting your time. If anything, they have doubled down on it. Everything in this game stomp you, except the lowliest of ads.

Boss stomp is annoying sure but as you learn more about the game it can be stopped in most scenarios. Without boss stomp they would have to replace it with something else. Bosses that do nothing while you chop at their ankles would be silly.

106 RespuestasYou don't speak for everyone. Boss stomps are risk/reward than can be mitigated by a timed melee/sword swing/dropping a well mid stomp or blocking with a sword. They are not an issue.

Boss stomp isn't an issue for Hunters. Time your close range attack, then doge to safety. For everyone else, it's another story. If you only play as a hunter, you wouldn't understand how frustrated people get from this mechanic. J/S

So you run in with relic and see what looks like 100 vex, pretorian and a teammate hiding off to the side.. so you gotta run in, relic smash, then clear the adds and need to waste super on the stupid wyvern etc.. really pisses me off

3 RespuestasThey need to come up with some more creative melee attacks even if they're not true "melees" but just something the boss does when in that distance. Like imagine if a boss rather than stomp you just froze you in place and there was a way to mitigate or hard counter it that was actually not annoying. Or say when trying to get out of melee range you get sucked back then take a big burst of damage from something like a hydra. There's options, they just need to get creative. Stomp is lazy.

1 RespuestaI honestly just wish it didn't take out so much health with each stomp. Most bosses can 2-shot with their stomps, making any prolonged CQC attack against them basically suicide. If it did only like ~20% damage per stomp, that'd be fine as the knockback is enough of a trick to overcome in itself.
