This is universally the most hated strike, probably in the games history. Its twice as long as most other strikes and has the absolute worst final boss and mechanics. I will leave any time time I get this in rotation it is that garbage.

If they'd just fix the bugs and Sedia's BS knockback through terrain then it wouldn't be too bad.

2 RespuestasYeah, I’m not a fan of the Corrupted. I didn’t mind running it back when Forsaken first came out, but nowadays, I can barely tolerate running it. The re-introduction of The Devils Lair Strike has highlighted all of The Corrupted’s shortcomings. In many ways, the 2 Strikes are polar opposites. The Devils Lair is praised for short length, it’s exciting pacing, and it’s huge enemy density. The corrupted on the other hand feels exceptionally long, and filled with uninteresting stuff to do.

My ghost knows to automatically start another strike whenever i spawn into that pos....

Leave immediately every time

What i don’t get about Corrupted is why it’s a Strike and not just a exclusive NF? It’s like they want it to be another Taken Strike, and then add ideas of a Dungeon while dressing it up as a strike. Some of the NFs i played can last almost as long as that strike on normal difficulty (especially Insight Terminus GM).

1 RespuestaEditado por Demon_XXVII: 8/10/2021 2:10:06 PMI love the Corrupted Strike Woah, wait a minute before the pitchforks are out Grab two clan mates/friends/etc Pick the Corrupted off the DC Map & after starting the initial part, head down the hillside, through the caves to Blind Well Tier 2/3 - spend a while blasting happily through combatants, quick super kills, catalysts etc Fastest way to get the Stasis Aspect Bounties (x2) & any other strike bounties done 👍 This is my argument for keeping the Corrupted 🙏
-
While I agree… who we kidding? All strikes are boring at this point.

2 RespuestasAgreed. I usually kill enemies as the strike begins so I can partially complete bounties. Then I leave immediately. This strike is too long to be worth my time.
-
I will take this strike 100 times over, instead of Exodus Crash.
-
It was the best strike in existence when it first appeared in the game.
-
6 RespuestasI actually hate Exodus Black the most

2 RespuestasIt's not even that long. Smash the first part and open the door Skip the next bit. Throw a few balls Run for a bit Kill some weak ogres Run a bit Half health the witch Run a bit Melt said witch Profit
-
The Corrupted in fine as long as your not doing something like a master+ Nightfall. Hollowed Lair is the strike you should leave, Half the enemies don’t count for bounties and the boss has like 7 immunity phases.

2 Respuestas
This is universally the most hated strike, probably in the games history.
Sounds like someone never did Cerberus Vae III

2 RespuestasI'm ok with the strike... it the stupid attack that sends you off the map.. why? Why is that even a thing
-
One of the better strikes in the game. Most of the others are mere slightly longer lost sectors. Sure the strike might be a bit longer than most and has a couple easy mechanics to work with but What is the big issue with the boss? One of the easiest boss fights in the game with a predictable attack pattern and easy to counter aoe blast (you just have to crouch)
-
I've always liked it but it takes too long if you're speed running strikes. That's the problem. Most just quit immediately now. Standing there on my own dancing....
-
OMG,it's so hard to throw a tracking ball at a target , that hurts your little brains
-
I actually don't mind the strike. It's one of the more interesting strikes in the game. Sure it's the hardest and most annoying Master and GM nightfall but it beats the boring and mundane "skip everything" way you people run strikes.
-
The Corrupted shows a major flaw in the design of the strike, while the strike is reasonably dense with adds, many are scattered in long, drawn out areas where nothing interesting happens. If you only look at the sections that you NEED to complete, it boils down to the Elevator Room, Ogre Room, and Boss Room; which is not that long. However, the long sections between these encounters makes it feel like a slog. On top of that, while the final boss fight is interesting, it is not fun to play. On top of that, it gives you yet another drawn out section to get to the final boss section, which just adds to the slog of a strike. I personally skip this one as well, and this is the only strike I skip.
-
The 3 mile walk is probably the worst part. Every time I run this strike I find myself saying, "oh, I forgot about this part". I leave this one quite often tough. I need 3 quick strikes for a pinnacle.

7 RespuestasThe Black Garden in D1 was almost a guarantee that 1-2 people would leave immediately.

Think I’ve posted about this strike half a dozen times. Hate it. It’s just annoying and it keeps coming up as if it wants to annoy me!.
-
1 RespuestaI bet you this will be a GM next season. It hasn’t been a GM since last expansion
-
horrible strike..thats a instant quit when that comes up
