Destiny Players Have a love/hate relationship with Bungie
Bungie is amazing for creating something like destiny, but Man do they somtimes get on my nerves

I really think the issue is upper management. The devs seem very passionate about the game and seem to want to make the game as great as possible but it seems like they aren't allowed or aren't getting resources allotted to them. When we actually here the devs speak on the game whether it be from podcasts or tidbits from the twab, it seems like they genuinely care about the playerbase and the game they are creating, but the execution seems to fail more often then not and I believe upper management to be the reason. Communication also seems to be a huge issue. I dont believe the community managers are allowed to actually do thier job. It seems they are only allowed to give copy pasted responses to the community, because upper management doesn't want to address or have open conversations about legitimate criticism. Overall I've come to believe that destiny is being built by great devs and amazing talent, but those devs and talent are being poorly managed and are not allowed to build destiny to its full potential.

Art direction, visual design, sound design are top notch in this game. Game design is now better than ever. But god this outdated monetization system is awful. Season pass, expansions, all this is starting to really be pain in the ass. I am just not buying this cuz I know I have no time for this and this have expiration date.

5 RespuestasThe worst thing you can do to Bungie and spur the most change, is to be indifferent. Stop buying things from them, stop supporting them in any way. If you want things to change, make them realize how utterly powerless they actually are.

It was just wrong. From that point on, I lost my trust in them. And as the years went by, this greedy mentality got worse and worse. When Activision left, this greed manifestation is becoming so obvious that you could feel it in everything that they do or touch. I stopped playing soon after that. What they do is no longer for the gamers. With greed comes laziness, and it's obvious with the amount of recycling 7-year old content being thrown everywhere. I'm still waiting for some indication when the game gets better. But it seems like the game is a sinking ship being maintained with life support.

12 RespuestasI'll give Bungie their due.....they're consistent........ Consistently lying to you. Consistently failing to maintain the game to a high standard. Consistently failing to address major problems in the game. Bungie just get away with treating their playerbase like garbage. We're all just barcodes to them. No more no less. The one and only reason I still play is to see where this story ends.

1 RespuestaThey have good ideas but their delivery sucks. They tend to neglect things that are issues in the game and a lot of times if something is fun they are quick to nerf it.

I love the IP's potential. I hate the fact that it will never come remotely close to fulfilling any of that potential. More often than not, Destiny feels empty and soulless.

Destiny could be amazing but it isn't I recently returned after a hiatus and am now asking myself what does the game actually have to offer? How players do the same old bounty grind each season is beyond me. Add in that we already know next season will be extended by some weeks, already it feels like, the year 5 dlc needs to be substantial to shake things up. Stale pvp, stale strikes and stale gambit are the staple for the game.

I hate the design decisions behind creating fundamentally barebones content, removing content expansion content, and monetization taking a front row seat to any basic QoL feature like Transmog. Hence my refusal to take part in any purchases of expansions, season passes, or MTX.

There hasn't been much to love since Forsaken, and I doubt there ever will be again, hope they prove me wrong, but I doubt it.

1 RespuestaMy almost exclusive love relationship in year 1, yes you heard right year 1, and year 2 and even early year 3 WITH activison has now shifted to a complete hate relationship. No worthwhile content anymore since the activision split whatsoever. Only Fortnite battle passes and weekly challenges with throwaway boring activities thrown in these days.

No, bungie is just doing what they want to do. They dont listen to the people which put 2000+ hours into the game. There is 1 Sandbox update every 3 months.. and every event is the same.

It's true players love the fact D1 was amazing fresh of ideas and hope it returns to its lost glory But Hate the fact the game is dead and crawling along on its hands and knees
