While yeah, the popularity is there, the amount of success seen (win rate and KDA) is all over the place and favors warlocks just as much as Hunters. But I think there are two things to point out. 1. Trials and Comp is likely a much lower percentage of the whole Crucible population. 2. The trends between each stat is what truly matters. There are really 4 main trends to note and what I believe are their potential implications. High success, high popularity is likely due to it being too strong. High success, low popularity could mean a number of things, one being a small group of experienced players that know how to use it. Low success, high popularity just means that a lot of people play that even if it isn’t the best. Low success, low popularity likely means it is underperforming. The middle two honestly don’t mean much as it could be any number of things. I’d classify Hunters in these playlists (for console) as high popularity and moderate success (there really isn’t a consistent trend). To me, this just shows that there are just a lot of Hunters and that’s it. I personally don’t care if there are a lot of any one class if it isn’t OP. And the thing is, for the most part it’s subjective, and really the only “evidence” we can use is looking to see if the is a correlation between popularity and sucess.
