The entire game is boring
The problem is your approach to “what do I do when I’ve ‘beaten the game’?”.
PvP? Just a watered down team deathmatch. Only 12 year old potatoes will be entertained by “clash” for more than 5 seconds. Grinding for god rolls? Sure, but this “timegating” approach to the loot isn’t fun. Plus you’ve buffed drop rates for everything, the grind lasts 2 seconds. Story? Unless it involves savathun or the darkness, your side stories are pretty uninspiring.
Most MMO style games have a PvE endgame, and then the PvP holds players over through dead periods of content. Your PvP couldn’t hold me for 5 seconds. I think it’s time to drop the old “2007 slayer” PvP approach and go with something that will be fun for more than 5 seconds. It’s 2021 and battle royales have taken over the genre. Why? Because they offer an aspect of random encounters that older video games do not. Maybe put your own twist on it. Try out some pvevp zones. Give players a TRUE place to test out their maximized builds (some boring kid who plays elimination for a living is crying about how unbalanced open world PvP would be right now). Bungie, sometime you’ve got to take a leap of faith and come up with something that sounds cool. If you spend the games lifetime catering to balance over fun, you’re going to lose.

It's boring without friends to be honest with friends you actually have stuff to do but me as a solo player it's so boring playing alone and yet I play almost everyday and I just have to deal with it since the Destiny community have been awfully toxic to me everytime I do raids with them.

You know what the definition of insanity is right? Doing the same thing over & over expecting different results. So that alone completely negates your post. Second thing. Bungie needs to fix the PvP system they currently have before adding to the dumpster fire they currently have now. Edit & Third thing battle royals are not that great. However if that’s what you want then I recommend you go play something that has battle royals in it, you have several options out there to choose from.

Battle royals are boring i used to play destiny a lot, i stop it by the end of the saint 14 season, the one you need to do the Quest for bastion. Put my head in apex, It was real Good for a while, but since the release of 8 (Fuse), that game went to shit, i think these guys realized you don't need to make huge strategies, so all they do is camping, they hear shots fire the ENTIRE lobby goes to the same place, 3rd parties everywhere, people dropping at the same place...and the battle system...that's the thing i ask myself how can I endure so much....you 99% of the time shoot shields...and shields...it's the.most boring thing ever. You hardly have the thrill like destiny t wipe a a team or at least 3, 4 guys. By the time you broke a shield you get shot in the back by 3rd parties.. I regret leaving... lost season 13....but i will not go back to that boring cesspool. Trust me destiny IS better, it has problems? Of course everygame has, but still better than BR. You don't own.shit there, FUK skins.

Battle Royal? It's become the most boring game mode going. Also a simple solution to your problem is to play something else. You're comparing it to other MMO games yet everyone of them becomes boring once you've done everything.

1 RespuestaThe issue no one talks about is loot as tools to get the job done. Once you understand the game you know what you need for gear. Once you have ground out so many different god rolls and seen their effectiveness or ineffectiveness you don’t get excited anymore. Case in point. I got a god rolled normal Hung Jury before GMs even released. I’ve been playing for a long time and 1. I know my chances of getting the same adept roll are extremely low. And 2. I know how little adept stats matter outside of PVP. On top of that Hung Jury sucks compared to slideshot ignition code/eternal blazon combo, etc. I probably have 50+ “ god rolls “ in my vault that I’ve never even fired. You reach a point where you need nothing from the game and you have no viable or logical reason to play anymore
