There are players who believe using a shotgun or a Hand Cannon is hard. It isnt. I rarely use shotguns but I see them more often than anyone should. I use Hand Cannons but not the META ones but I see them more than any other weapon type in the game. If weapons were so easy to use, then why are players huddling up in QP and why are certain weapons overshadow in usage percentage? I dont use flinch mods and I rarely use targeting mods because I feel they do not give the impression of a “shooter” when used. Plus D1 didnt have these mods so Im sticking with the ways of old. Now if I can do well in games without these mods, I am quite sure anyone else can do the same and I use a regular controller on old gen Xbox. Dont get me wrong the ease of use as far as mechanics in this game are definitely easy to grasp but dont sit here and act like we are doing hardwork to accomplish any feat especially with the current state of how PVP is being ran. Even PVE is being cheesed due to content being overly tuned against players and that has been a thing since D1 at times. There is too much diversity in this game to be using the same loadouts 24/7 for each encounter and there are far too many mods that help with those encounters. If players want this game to be competitive, then create the competitive scene around your playstyle and loadouts rather than the ones Bungie gives you to make your life easy. This isnt something I feel the community is to blame primarily because Bungie is mainly at fault but when we ask for adjustment, nerfs shouldnt be the option when buffs arent even a solution for some in terms of balance. If you have ever done PVP during the night in the states, you know exactly what I am talking about especially when it comes to solo queing. It goes from terrible lobby balancing to a complete and utter nightmare.
